This story is a sequel to The Legend Of Nicholas
Nicholas is the resident human of Ponyville, accepted and loved by all the ponies, especially the foals. Every year on hearth's warming eve, Nicholas makes toys for every foal in town.
However lately, Nicholas has had strange dreams about himself, about a crystal star, and about an Alicorn. Every night he feel more and more restless, and somehow he feels he must go. Nicholas has always had questions about who he is, and why he is in Equestria.
Without knowing why, he has a feeling that this year he might find answers. Of course, that feeling is only made stronger when eight reindeer come for him during the night, asking him to travel with them to the far North.
It is time for Nicholas to face his destiny, and be who he was always meant to be.

Yes!!! A sequel!!! But through these stories. I have been wondering where's Rudolph? And he's not in the cover art either. Unless you saving him for the later part of the story or not at all. But hey you write what you wanna write.

From the top left we have Blitzen. Blitzen is the oldest of the males, the more responsible of the group, like an older brother. He is calm and collected, with a sense of responsibility for the others. Which is why he is flight leader.
Below him we have the ever confident Comet. He is brave and daring, confident and head strong. One could say he is the muscle of the group. Sometimes he acts without thinking, but there is no doubt that his head is in the right place.
Below him we have the beautiful Cupid, who is the oldest of the female reindeer. She is a romantic, loves to read romance novels, and enjoys the love that the holidays bring. She is calm, kind, and gentle, always ready with an almost motherly advice.
Below her we have the youngest of the males, Dancer. He is a bit of a goof, loves to screw around, listen to loud music, and show off before the females. He often bites off more than he can chew, and often enough he doesn't know when to stop talking.
Top right we have Dasher. She is the daredevil, a show off, and like Comet she is VERY confident in her own abilities. She loves speed and stunts, wanting to break all kinds of records, and show that the Wonderbolts has nothing on her.
Below Dasher you see Donner. He is a more calm and collected reindeer. Preferring to stay inside with a good book and a cup of tea. He is the rule follower, and one who likes order, procedure, and quiet music. He can be a bit dry at times, but he is a very loyal friend.
Below him we have the youngest of the female reindeer, Prancer. Prancer is just so excited to be part of the flying squad. She is energetic and always willing to give the others a helping hoof. She loves to bake cookies, sing, and have a good time. One could say she is the group's personal cheerleader.
Lastly, but certainly not last, we have Vixen. Vixen is playful, and enjoys a bit of mischief, making the bucks blush. Despite this she is also very clever, helpful, and very protective of her friends. She enjoys clothes, but like cupid she dreams of a true romantic encounter, perhaps with the mature Blitzen?

The true identity of the Reindeers are revealed as they are none other than flying Reindeers and somehow Nicholas is feeling a little bit strange with the Crystal Star and it's powerful Magic as well as it's connection with him as the plot continues to thicken even more.
The story of Nicholas continues with him being an Adult in this new journey of his origins as Equestria's very own Santa Claus of Hearth's Warming Eve.

Awesome new chapter! Funny that Applejack forgot to tell her family and friends she will be gone for a bit. I have to wonder if Santa will meet Twilight very near the end of the story since right now it seems like just adventure for Santa, Applejack, and Mina.

Edit: Did a quick search and found that Donner and Ms Donner are his parents. So since it doesn’t seem like we know what was Ms Donner original name was I guess the author will play romance speculation in the story to see who will marry Donner.

The mystery of the Crystal Star and the reason why Nicholas is seeing it is revealed as well as the mysterious male Alicorn that he kept seeing in his dreams reveals himself none other than himself, Santa Claus as well as the purpose of him being here. But then comes a shocking revelation after he meets himself in the Star and when he wakes up, He is not human anymore and the plot of the story continues to go even more thicker than ever.
