I will say, being dropped into the sequel to an unwritten story annoyed me at first, but after rereading it and this one I am actually kind of digging it now. I think there being more info to flesh out what happened in the past definitely helped the feeling that I was missing something, and it has majorly gotten me interested in seeing what went down.
