An ancient being by the name of The Exiled has been traversing the Multiverse in search of something. Something that will give him unlimited power over all. He has been recruiting villains from all over to do his bidding. Once he locates what he seeks there will be none to stop him.
But when Twilight Sparkle joins forces with 4 other heroes from various dimensions, his plans are put at risk. It would seem that this Unicorn is more of a problem than he thought.
Join Twilight as her and her new team of friends traverse through various worlds to beat the bad guys, and to put a stop to The Exiled and his nefarious schemes.

Let's recap:
In Equestria, over a thousand years ago, the legendary Star Swirl the Bearded was on the run from robotic creatures led by a mysterious supervillain named Talos, who now calls himself "The Exiled."
After the great battle, in which Talos is imprisoned in a prison dimension at the center of the universe, never to return, Star Swirl plants "The Seed of Harmony" (from which he will surely create the legendary Tree of Harmony), while reads a scroll that prophesies that Five Guardians will be chosen to protect the Multiverse in the distant future.

Are they really though? I mean, I'm pretty sure that, aside from the major motion pictures, they've never changed his characterization. Like, it could be the one from the cartoon or mario 64 or even CDi "All Toasters Toast Toast" Mario and I don't think it'd be an issue. Same for Sonic: it's not like he changes drastically between reboots, it's just different plots with the same character.

Let's recap:
More than a thousand years later, in the present day and in an unknown dimension, The Exilied finds, with the help of his robotic helper, the location where what he needs for his revenge is placed: The Foundation Elements.
Then, The Exilied tries to destroy his assistant, who manages to escape through a Dimensional Rift, so his master decides to recruit "help" to find the Elements.
Meanwhile, on Earth-2011 or Equestria, the unicorn Twilight Sparkle and her dragon helper Spike prepare to go on a picnic with their best friends, the Mane 6 (Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Rarity), to celebrate their recent victory of saving Crystal Empire from the evil King Sombra.
However, the picnic is interrupted by the arrival of the Alicorn Princesses Celestia and Luna, who bring with them the Elements of Harmony after witnessing someone stealing the statue of Discord, the ancient God of Chaos, using a Dimensional Rift.
Then, other Rifts appear, taking with them the Princesses, the Elements, the Mane 6 and Spike, forcing Twilight (who had endured by holding on to a tree) to enter through one of the Rifts, with the mission of saving her friends.

In Earth-1991, also known as Planet Mobius, the hero Sonic the Hedgehog, together with his companions, Miles "Tails" Prowler, Amy Rose and Knuckles the Echidna, travel to the space station "Death Egg", ruled by his archenemy, Dr. Eggman, with one goal: to retrieve the Chaos Emeralds (one of the Foundation Element that was in this dimension).
During the battle, Eggman uses the robotic clone of our hero, Metal Sonic, and his new creation, "Egg Colossus", to try to destroy the heroes, but is defeated thanks to the transformation of our blue hero, Super Sonic.
When finished, the new device that Eggman found, known as the "Keystone", opens a Dimensional Rift that absorbs the villain, Sonic's friends and the Chaos Emeralds, forcing our blue hero to enter the Rift, not knowing what It would take him on a new adventure.

Now THAT'S what I call a chapter!
This was a fun read of Sonic and his friends infiltrating the Death Egg and battling against Eggman and his robots. The music for each battle was a great choice, Orbot and Cubot talking about the tally was funny, the action scenes were epic, and the Super Sonic battle... *chef kiss*.
But things took a turn when everyone, including Eggman, disappeared into the portal with Sonic chasing after them.
What's going to happen next?

On Earth-1, also known as the "DC Universe", the superhero Batman (aka Bruce Wayne) and his sidekick Robin (aka Damian Wayne) go through the streets of Gotham City to break into an auction of kryptonite (green crystal that weakens the hero Superman andone of the Foundation Element that was in this dimension) between three of his greatest opponents: Bane, Two-Face and the Penguin.
After the battle, a Dimensional Rift opens up, causing the creautres of The Exiled (the same ones that the villain used against Star Swirl thousands of years ago), to steal the kryptonite and kidnap Robin, forcing the Dark Knight to follow them, not knowing that it will take him on a great adventure with our favorite unicorn and hedgehog.

Finally caught up with this fanfic and so far it’s a good start for a parody of Lego Dimensions.
And I keep being reminded how that little shit Damian annoys me so much as hell, he needs a reality check and the entire humble pie shoved down to his throat.

I'll admit I'm not too familiar with Sonic the Hedgehog. Sometimes I'd play the game when I visited my cousin's house when I was a kid. I remember watching The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog as well. This feels though like it probably is authentic to Sonic the Hedgehog even though I can't be too sure. I had a lot of fun reading it. I was imagining the characters sounding like the versions in the Netflix series Sonic Prime. (That features Tails voiced by Ashleigh Ball, MLP's Rainbow Dash and Applejack. Other MLP voice actors appear as well. That certainly would track here.) Well, on to the next chapter then. Keep up the good work
Looks like you're going off the Arkham games for the most part for this version of Batman. Never played them myself, but I always imagine Batman sounding like Kevin Conroy anyway. RIP.

In Earth-1986, also known as the Mushroom Kingdom, the plumber hero Mario, along with his younger brother Luigi and his rival Donkey Kong, fight another battle to save Princess Peach from her tyrannical nemesis: the King of the Koopas, Bowser.
During the battle, Bowser uses a Mega Mushroom to transform into his biggest and most powerful transformation: Giga Bowser (the appearance Bowser takes when he uses his special attack in "Super Smash Bros: Ultimate").
Then, just as Bowser prepares to defeat Mario, Peach hands him the Super Star (the Element of the Foundation that is in this dimension), causing our hero to transform into Super Mario and defeat Giga Bowser with ease.
In the end, when they thought they had won, a Dimensional Rift appears, taking the Superstar with it, along with Peach, Luigi, Toad, Donkey Kong and Bowser, forcing Mario to follow them into the Rift... not knowing that it will take him on a great adventure with a purple unicorn, a blue hedgehog and a dark knight.
