I'll check the story out now.
This story had an interesting premise, but a lackluster execution. My biggest issue with it is that the colt Chrysalis talks with seems way too mature for how old he is. I realize you point that out, but that doesn't make it any less jarring when he speaks like someone twice his age. Beyond that, you have quite a lot of awkward phrasing throughout, as well as some scattered mechanical errors, that made the story hard to follow sometimes.
