King Sombra: a pony who was not a pony at all, but an Umbrum, that took control over the Crystal Empire in hatred—only to be banished as a shade under the ice by Celestia and Luna. He did put a curse on the Crystal Empire to ensure his return—but his plans were foiled once again, resulting in his first "death." Once more, he returned to plague Equestria, almost conquering it entirely—only to be stopped by Twilight Sparkle and her friends, and ultimately killed. Thus, his second "death."
That is what most know of Sombra. They view him as a monster of evil—but even monsters have regrets and memories of those they loved. Being held in an endless void gives one time to think about these things...

The way everything was described here to help me relate to Sombra's pain was perfect! You should totally make this into a full-blown story where Sombra tries to redeem himself after being reincarnated again!
A potential sequel for Sombra to be redeemed? And O hope that it doesn't end up in the G5 Timeline.
I actually like to see the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight/Trixie Celestia/Luna, Cadence/Shining, and Starswirl/Pillars reacting to a regrettable Sombra that apologize for everything.

I might make this into a story, but we’ll see. I’ll have to do some actual research into Radiant Hope and rewatch some of the last two seasons, especially the episodes with him if I were to.
If I did make one, it would not be G5. In all honesty, I haven’t watched the movie yet because I’m a lil salty they’re getting rid of all the best characters (Celestia, Cadance, Discord, Spike, Starlight, Sombra, etc.) It would take place sometime after The Ending of the End, but before The Last Problem.
Do you think the story would be better as 1st person (from Sombra) or 3rd?

I’ll consider writing one. I have two other fics I’m working on, plus a short story, and I want to work on something I can get published. One of the fics and the short story should be done soon, but that still leaves a lot to write. However, I may try to fit another story in there if I don’t work on it as often as the other stories.
