“Caring Nightmare” is a phrase that I never expected to read, and yet it fits so well here. Nightmare’s characterization is really good. Yeah, she definitely has a soft side, but she still feels like the evil usurper that we all know and love. Not bad for your first story.

This is a lovely little fluff!
Nightmare Moon reveling like a savage beast was a nice mental picture to play with, thirsting for life!
The Human knowing their little limits was a nice touch, magical demigods imbued with the power of a celestial body be scary powerful, especially within blasting range.
Would love to see a Night Court Session!
