I prolifically produce prurient pregnant pony prose, previously per Pregchan, presently preferring here and there. I'm currently commissionable.

Mr. and Mrs. Cake find their early morning interrupted by the Cutie-Mark Crusaders on another crusade, this time relating to mareliness. After her friends lose interest, Apple Bloom goes a bit further to visit another mare, and learns some new things about herself.

This story was originally published in February of 2020, as part of a trade with Catross, who wanted an Apple Bloom story. The cover art is by tobirone which, while not inspiring the story, depicts one of its scenes closely enough.

Looks more like E for explicit for me.

Yes. I understand this story toes the line with its rating, but it seemed fine to me. My perception may be warped by being touched in the head, I'm writing MLP fanfiction after all, but the story seems like it could be an episode of the show well enough to me. I won't be heartbroken if a moderator tells me this was wrong by changing the rating to teen, but I looked around and found far more extreme stories with the everyone rating, so it should be fine.
Now please comment on the story itself. I'd like to read what others think of it.

It's the picture that makes me feel like this should at least be rated T.

Did you make the cover art? Who is that pony?

That's fair enough. There was a second image from the trade, really the first, so I've changed it to that. I'll use the previous image for another story.

No. She's a character in the story.

For the benefit of those judging this story and downvoting it based on the, admittedly, eyebrow-raising artwork and almost intentionally misleading description alone, I've decided to give it a read for you.

And, surprisingly, it does merit the E for Everyone rating. There is nothing sexual in this story. It's literally just the Crusaders asking Mrs. Cake and another also pregnant OC surface-level questions about pregnancy followed by Apple Bloom having a nightmare.

In the interest of full disclosure there is a significant... I'll call it a fixation on pregnancy, with most of the actual wordcount devoted to descriptions of the "roundness of the belly" and the difficulties of movement and feeling the foals kick about. It's enough to make you quirk an eyebrow, but I'd say the author does keep it clear from entering fetish territory. It's an odd interest, in my opinion, but it's delivered pretty harmlessly and the technical skill of the writing is good.

I really like the story I find it really well written, also relatable since I am also someone with that sort of fixation

Following their eyes, Cup Cake explained, “Oh, you’ve never seen a paternity mark before?”, receiving three head shakes in response. “Well, when you love a stallion enough to have his foals, you get one of these while you’re carrying them around. It lets you know when the pregnancy has begun and is such a sweet way our world blesses us.” Now staring at it as they were, she smiled after finishing that sentence.

Just so you know, i'm stealing this idea.

Kanashii Panda used them pretty extensively, maybe even first.

Related art is most definitely NOT e-rated.

Apple Bloom now has a pregnancy fetish

It's a good story. Apple Bloom figured out she'd like to be a mom someday
