CURRENTLY UNDERGOING MAJOR EDITING
Ten years ago, Twilight Sparkle and her friends defeated and stoned Cozy Glow, Tirek, and Chrysalis. A certain alicorn princess, Flurry Heart, is not pleased with Cozy's punishment and decides to free her.
Cozy Glow absolutely does not want to be reformed, but at least she gets to live in the Crystal Castle and be "friends" with a young but pretty powerful Princess. Maybe she could use that to her advantage! It would be nice to have a pretty Princess on her side...
Flurry Heart desperately wants to reform Cozy and become closer to her. But she gets the feeling that the pink Pegasus doesn't trust her, even though she's starting to get better. After all, it could all be an act. But Flurry, for some reason, feels she needs to befriend Cozy Glow, for personal reasons too. After all, the Pegasus is kind of cute...wait, who said anything about cute?!
Meanwhile, a dark force lurks in the shadows, waiting to attack. A strange pond glows in the Everfree Forest. And a deadly battle is closer than anypony thinks...

As for a title how about Cozy Hearts, good combination of the names and sounds cute
Nice start, Flurry seems to have more common sense then the experienced adults, it seems.
Funny thing is, I kind of consider Tirek to be the least evil among the trio and Chrysalis about on-par with Cozy.

Flurry hasn't done anything bad to Cozy, and got her out of her stony prison. She has the best chance to reform the evil pegasus.
I'm happy that Cozy has become a bit tamer after being freed, but it's still her. Minutes after being released, she already started her usual tactics on Flurry.
This will eventually become into -> can Flurry reform Cozy first, or will Cozy start swaying Flurry into her ways.
This was a good story, can’t wait for more!
And for the title, I was suggesting maybe ‘’A friendship Aglow’’ as a friendship has been formed and since of Cozy Glow’s name, but ‘’Cozy Hearts’’ is good too

to be fair, Flurry Heart meet two villains (Chrysalis and Sombra) when she was young, so they too protective of her
Off to a pretty good start, and hope to see this go further (Zipp is doing a good job at explaining some of the older ponies histories but remember to consult Sunny for the finer details... that is if you're prepared to hear her give a speech that will rival Twilight's)

For me, it's from reading a good story. This story was inspired by a few of Silvermyr's stories, and the story Run Away With Me by semillon.
For the most part is was a normal morning. Aside from the Guard that is.
At least Flurry came to Cozy's rescue before it could've escalated.

interesting stance, I personally thing Chrysalis is the least evil, after all during the beginning she only wanted to help her hive, and keep them all feed. it was only when she refused change did she become true villain, whereas Tieke came to Equestria with impure intentions wishing to take their magic for himself for no reason other than selfishness, Cozy on the other hand is just a psyco, or at least how I'll see it till she gets a backstory.
No one ever had given Tirek a second chance either.

All the other Princesses, Dragon lord, Changeling King, and even Sunset have had their harem/herd stories, but I don't know of any Furry Heart harem stories.
Being the daughter of the Princess of Love alone could lead to a lot of issues. Harem comedy for the win.

They symbolize way more than that, depending on the local culture. Ravens can also be regarded as messengers of the Gods, and being approached by a raven can mean good luck. The "death" thing you mentioned is probably referring to the very old belief that they carry the souls of the recently departed to the afterlife (this can also apply to crows, and the plot of every "Crow" movie revolves around this).
On a more mundane note, ravens are also very intelligent birds, and a gathering of ravens is called a "conspiracy" (amongst other things, this is also regional).
There's a wealth of reasons Cozy can like ravens without having to take the (rather unexpected) emo angle.
