The following fan fiction you are about to read is a dream project of mine. Why did I choose this website? For its catering to MLP:FIM exclusive fan fictions unlike the more basic FanFiction.Net. As well as for the obvious fact that a VeggieTales-related fan fiction website doesn't exist.

I've known a world with VeggieTales as long as I can remember, which 90s babies growing up in a Christian home has never heard of the series? I learned all about biblical morals from VeggieTales that still resonate with me to this day as an adult, and as I mature even more fully into adulthood. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on the other hand first premiered when I just became a teenager, I never expected MIP: FIM to gain a major male fandom with fans even older than I am. It was nearly two years ago when I got curious over what the brony hubbub was all about, and then I was immediately hooked. The wholesome lessons that MLP: FIM taught gave me similar to vibes to VeggieTales. So that is what inspired me to create this crossover fan fic of my dreams.

There are several individuals I would like to thank, three of whom I've never met:

Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki for creating a video series of CGI anthropomorphic vegetables that taught me further about the faith that I follow.

Lauren Faust for reinventing a series I would've dismissed for being too girly and childish.

The rest of whom I've actually chatted with on this website:

Dinodisneylover1 for his kind personality and amazing crossover series that blended the magic of Disney of MLP:FIM, that became inspiration for my self.

extremeengima02 for yet another amazing crossover series in the world of cinema, as well as another inspiration for this fan fiction.

Dramamaster829 for his eloquent observations about the beauty of fan fiction, his editing of the Cinematic Adventures, as well as being the first user I actually chatted with. Despite our disagreements in the past, I've always found good fun in it.

ToonWriter for spicing up the comment sections of the Cinematic Adventures with his own commentary B-plots.

Phantom-Dragon for continuing the legacy that ToonWriter began, as well as a possible mutual interest in VeggieTales.

HunterBrony101 for becoming the first user to actually speak with me on this website when I first came on (although I was acting quite foolish at that time).

Jmaster49 for a fanfic series that shared my mutual disappointment in the lack of a redemption arc for Cozy Glow that will be more further explored in this fanfic.

Finally I would like to thank my Lord Jesus Christ for giving me the peace, strength, faith and wisdom in my life. As well as giving me the opportunity to share this faith-inspired fan fiction.

So sit back, relax and read all about this crossover of my dreams that combines Sunday morning values with Saturday morning fun!

Welll the description is wasted. All of that belongs in the AN. Now actually tell us something about the story itself 😒.

Yeah the moderators wouldn’t let me, they said to put it on the long description or on another website.

I guess this LD stuff does help a sufficiently discerning reader guess what they are in for if they read the story. And I guess that's a good thing?

You have my attention with this.

Good.

Should've been in a blog or in an author's note or something imo

I'm sorry, but you really need a proof-reader or beta-reader. There are many grammatical errors, and it makes it difficult to read, and messes with the flow of the story. For example:

"Thanks to Pinkie Pie" said Rainbow Dash annoyed "she bumped into all of us with her flying thingumabob and we all went crashing down to here, where the hay did you even get that Pinkie?"

When quoting someone/pony, there is always either an exclamation point, question mark, period, or comma before the ending quotation marks. In the case that you are identifying the speaker after the ending quotation marks, then you replace what would be a period with a comma. When continuing the dialogue further after identifying the speaker, you either capitalize the start of the next sentence/dialogue, or, if the sentence is a run-on, with the speaker's identity in the middle, then you add a comma after identifying the speaker, and then re-start the dialogue without capitalization.

So it should be like this:

"Thanks to Pinkie Pie," said Rainbow Dash annoyed. "She bumped into all of us with her flying thingumabob and we all went crashing down to here. Where the hay did you even get that, Pinkie?"

Notice the comma before the dialogue break for identifying Rainbow as the speaker. Also, since the sentence wasn't a run-on, there is a period after the word 'annoyed', and then the next part of the dialogue is capitalized.

Also, you combined a statement with a question in a single sentence, so I separated them into two sentences at the end. You could keep it as one sentence if you wanted to use a semicolon, but this is not done very often, and usually when you have two sentences examining the same topic/thought, and wanted to combine them.

That would look like:

"She bumped into all of us with her flying thingumabob and we all went crashing down to here; where the hay did you even get that, Pinkie?"

Now, in a sentence like this:

"Yes" said Bob "it is one of the most evil atrocities to judge someone by the color of their appearance."

Since the identity of the speaker is interrupting a sentence, rather than being placed between two separate sentences, you would use commas both before the first set of ending quotation marks, and also after identifying the speaker, while keeping the next part of the dialogue uncapitalized:

"Yes," said Bob, "it is one of the most evil atrocities to judge someone by the color of their appearance."

Also, saying 'by the color of their appearance' is repetitive. You should stick with just either 'by their color' or 'by their appearance'.

Hope this constructive criticism helps!

Thanks, I really do mean it without sarcasm. I guess I was quite excited to publish this that I didn’t focus too much on proofreading LOL. I’m not an expert when it comes to storytelling.

"Ok Larry, it's time for the theme song."

"Yeah, I'm glad that turned out to be more like Jacob and Esau than Cain and Abel," said Larry. "Or, in other words, the story ended happy instead of tragic."

Not sure I’d call it happy, more bittersweet 😅 My Bible Study group has been reading through Genesis, and we realized that Jacob decided not to follow Esau back. Esau may or may not have had other intentions even if he didn’t want to harm Jacob physically anymore.

There is so much to unpack here 😂

Good work, though it’s very wordy and falls into a bit of over explaining at risk of making it easy to get lost

Here we go, Where’s God When I’m S-Scared?!

Baby pickle, that always gets me~

Daniel was pretty much the first Bible story I was ever introduced to.

The Mane Six and Spikes' eyes widen in awe over ADA knowing their names. Then the simulator began flashing bright lights in the front, and the Equestrians felt the sensation of their eyes being pushed back into their skulls as they were launched into the realms of video land.

Professor Borlaug: Frankencelery, come back!

Announcer: Do you ever get scaaaaaared?

Spike: Whoa!

Junior: There’s something in my toy chest!

Announcer: Do you ever have the feeling that someone’s out to get you?

Scallion #1: You are hereby sentenced to be consumed by the lions. Goodbye.

Larry (as Daniel): Wait, don't I get a phone… CAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL?!

Announcer: Well fear not because…

Bob: Have we got a show for you~

Announcer: That’s right. There’s nothing to be afraid of in the latest video release from VeggieTales: Where’s God When I’m S-Scared?!

Join everyone’s favorite tomato and cucumber, Bob and Larry, along with six ponies and a dragon, as they teach us there’s someone out there bigger than any ol’ boogeyman!

Bob: And that’s why we don’t have to be afraid.

Twilight: *smiles contently*

Announcer: There’s plenty of music, veggies, and ponies galore.

Scallion #1: I like it~

Spike: *chuckle sinisterly along*

Announcer: There’s even a silly song from Larry.

British Narrator: The part of the show where Larry comes out and sings a Silly Song.

Bob: And you did a very good job.

Larry: Why thank you! It was my finest hour!

Mane Six and Spike: *laugh*

Announcer: It’s 30 jam packed minutes of Sunday morning values and Saturday morning fun! Don’t miss VeggieTales: Where’s God When I’m S-Scared?. Available on home video from Big Idea Productions, Hasbro Entertainment and Lyrick Studios.

Bob then bowed his head and closed his eyes with Larry as he began to pray, "Dear God, we thank you for the opportunity to meet with seven new friends. Let you guide their steps and let them come to know you, Father."

"Give Twilight Sparkle the strength she needs to rule as Princess of Equestria," said Larry. "May your loving hand be there always for her, Lord. In Jesus mighty name, Amen."

Maybe you should do Its a meaningful life next!

I'm only going to do God Wants Me to Forgive Them? and Are You My Neighbor? next.

Wait till Fluttershy hears what Discord did.

Then the simulator began flashing bright lights in the front, and the Equestrians felt the sensation of their eyes being pushed back into their skulls as they were launched into the realms of video land.

Announcer: When a bunch of sour grapes spear Junior Asparagus’ feelings…

Junior: They were calling me Bean boy and telling me I had peas on my head!

Rainbow Dash: So not cool!

Announcer: It’s up to Junior’s dad to show them the error of their ways.

Pa Grape: We will never be mean again.

Fluttershy: Very nice~

Dad Asparagus: Ok, that’s better.

Announcer: But can he do it without making them feeling crushed?

Junior: I know lots of people who’ve been forgiven for bad things they’ve done.

Twilight: We do as well.

Announcer: Find out in God Wants Me To Forgive Them?!

Junior: I forgive you Grapes.

Twilight: We forgive you as well.
