As for the Greek myths... Pegasus, Dragons, Chimeras, Hydras--yes, they're all there. Unicorns were mostly Northern Europe and places eastward toward Kazakhstan then down into India, but didn't feature much in Greece. Gryphons (variously spelled) appeared in mythologies of Mongolia all the way to Ethiopia, including Greece. Kirins mostly appeared from India to China, but I'm not sure if they appeared in Greece unless maybe Alexander's conquests out to where Pakistan is now might have brought something back with them.
