When Princess Celestia agrees to help Scootaloo become a better flier, the Cutie Mark Crusaders couldn't be more excited. When she pulls out her giant cannon she uses to shoot things to the moon, they get even more excited. I mean, who wouldn't?

This is a zany comic piece that seems like it is not intended to be taken too seriously. I guess it is sort of a Celestia-troll-fic? I think I have seen that phrasing tossed around with respect to other works although I have not seen a definition.

It escalated a bit quickly with Celestia's annoyance (I liked the longer scene-build-up in the deleted scene you linked in your author's notes but I understand why you kept it out); however, I think you were going for a very breezy and fast-flowing piece and judging on the rubric of a zany piece, it succeeds!

I was concerned a bit by the humour in the opening paragraph but the humour that follows is of a different type, so to the unknown reader who may not have appreciated that joke and who is reading the comments for potential guidance from random readers, don't let that dissuade you from the rest!
