Hail the Sun, the Moon, and the Void Eternal

E

This story is a sequel to Internal Testing

After the success of his cart wash modifications, and a few months of running himself ragged, Gears was finally ordered to take a vacation. He was too tired and sore to argue, but once home he couldn't find a way to rest or relax.

Luckily a brochure for a new spa caught his attention and it seems like the perfect place to rest his sore hooves. He might not get exactly what he wanted, but he'll certainly get what he needed.

Sequel to Internal Testing, but reading that is not required

> The table he was laying one,

Typo -- laying "on".

> tied off to seal the wax in and his hooves were placed in thick booties

I recommend a comma at "in, and"

I could not help but feel that this magical pony wash/spa was just the next version of whatever his work was building. First time he got the cart wash. This time he got the pony wash. Next time ... what will he stumble across next time?

aaand done, thanks

Glad they finally got the right object in the right wash this time ;P
I have a few ideas, from a beauty booth to a laundry machine, and anywhere in between.

Though I'd always welcome any other ideas that you'd have

Well, lets see. We know that the spa uses a lot of high-volume washing machines for all those towels. But, that's kinda minor.

Oh. Maybe he can get involved in tree sap, calling back to season 1 CMC stuff?

Ooo interesting, maybe a maple sap collection system

At the end, he can be covered in enough TreeSap that he is made an honorary member of the CMC (Both for the trouble he gets into and for the tree sap covering.)

I didn't know you use this image for your story. Only that you posted it in the artist gallery channel. I said it before and I will say it again. Kinky. I probably should be asleep instead of browsing stories right now...

Personally, I would've gone with replacing "in, and" with a "while". It's a bit unusual to see the word "and" with a comma when it's only connecting two sentences or subjects. Usually, I only see a comma when it's listing something, you know, "Him, this, and that"

I suppose it doesn't violate any grammar rules I'm aware of and technically works. Oh well, just a personal nitpick.

WHY IS GRAMMARLY WANTING TO CORRECT TECHNICALLY TO TECHNOLOGY?!
