I know there is no indication of how early this takes place, but for some reason I like to think it is early on before Twilight has fully gotten used to Ponyville's weirdness. Love the story!

I didn't get Lyra's coded message until the author's note. It's corny but still cute. These are definitely the kinds of super serious but not really hijinks Pinkie would get into on a daily basis, has a genuine season 1-2 shine to it.
