This was personally really good. I would hope you would enjoy writing stories with Spike in them and do some more after this. I loved how you did my fav pairing. Sparity seems so rare now a days so it was a great read.

Excellent excellent work. I could really learn a thing or two from this. The dialogue of every character, even the brief ones, fits their show mannerisms to a T. I tend to write as if I am the one speaking every part, but you've masterfully crafted the dialogue to feel true to the show, and even used euphamisms I wouldn't have thought to use.

One of the more important questions for keeping dialogue in character is "Can I imagine the character saying that?" And if you can't, how do you think they'd say it? (If you don't think they'd express the idea at all, you have bigger problems.)

Good old fashioned Sparity with some wonderful character moments! While the sex itself was a bit short and lacked detail, you made up for it with one of my favorite things that so rarely appears; conversation mid coitus.

That... was a really good story. I appreciate how it stayed relatively... grounded, if you know what I mean? And their interactions with each other were dripping with love and care and warmth, it was heart-warming, really. Which, in turn, made the sex scene more... relevant. It was great.
