Spike and Rarity have been together for some time now. He's grown into quite the mature dragon and Rarity finally realized her feelings for the purple drake. He's got a very special picnic/night planned for his lady, involving a very important question to ask...the most important of their lives.

Wow. It is so rare, for a romance to drive me to tears, but, lo and behold, I teared up several times. This has to be the most emotionally powerful love story I have ever read in my entire life. To whomever wrote this, thank you. It was beautiful.

Brilliant story. Wonderfully written and powerfully presented with a great deal of humour and sincerity exactly where it is needed. I loved it from start to finish, as I do with every Sparity story out there. This only makes me want to read Strange Yet Wonderful even more.

On a more serious note: This story was... hm. 'Great' doesn't really fit the bill. Heart-warming. I admit, when your tale reached its climax, I had to blink a few times myself to keep on reading. Stories like these make it harder to believe that romance might be dead or that this world has barely enough beauty to offer.

I’m so glad that you made it, because otherwise, I would never have been able to take the time to read this wonderful one-shot. To boot, there’s even some slight humor and emotion-wracking moments to back it all up.
Can you please get someone to make a picture of Rarity and Spike cuddling close to one another? Rarity holding Spike’s claw with her hoof, and Spike using his wing to have her close to him?
Can there also be one of Rarity wrapping her tail around Spike’s?
