Wow, short but effective. Excellent work, TCC.

rarity you saw him as a child and strung him along so not to hurt his feelings until he moved on and now it you who hurt by not seeing what was there before it was to late

RDT

Well, I guess this is going to be a comment.

This is mostly very good, but I guess the one issue I might have with this is that it feels too spontaneous and too clean. Spontaneous in that these feelings should be something that Rarity has wrestled with for a very, very long time, but in the writing it comes across as more of a revelation. (Of course there are some indications that this had been a long-standing issue. I just think there could have been... More?) And it feels too clean because the story presents the issue as something that Rarity just immediately resolves. While I don't think that's what actually happens, the pacing suggests that this is a sort of one-and-done conflict when it really isn't.

Overall a good story, though. And I'm a sticker for angst.

A nice, compact study of Rarity's relationship with Spike. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, I love this! Lovely snippet into their life

Very nice. A short, inflecting work that does a very nice job of exploring the heart.

My favorite part about Rarity is that even she, as the element of Generosity, still struggles with selfishness from
time to time. She really did Spike dirty by stringing him along for so long. Really beautiful introspection here, nice work :)
