Cheerilee has always loved being a teacher. Helping young minds to blossom is what she does best.
So what's a mare like her to do when the EEA pays her a visit and requests that she take a day off from her job? A day off from teaching for the first time in forever, or so it feels.
Well, Cheerilee will soon discover that there are some things she can do that don't relate to teaching, things that should keep her plenty busy for a day. And maybe it'll awaken something new inside of her.

Really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up in all the right places. Definitely understand Cheerilee's work ethic, as well as the points about taking a day off (something she has previously only done when school was on a break too) and I did like seeing Cheerilee's efforts to past the time during her day off (and Rarity's help on that front).
Was this was a pretty nice short story about Cheerilee and how she's been doing lately and yeah I felt like she kind of disappeared as well I mean she's there but she's not relevant to some stories to the episodes but it's always good to see her how she's been doing and apparently she's been overworking herself at the school so Chancellor told her to take a day off with the kind of didn't want to but she didn't want to question it so she did and it's really nice to see Rarity to invite her for lunch and the Cutie Mark Crusaders even showed her their Clubhouse and not only that a lot of her students really appreciate her so much this was a pretty good story of her keep up the good work
Speaking as someone who works six days a week, nine hours a day, I can relate to Cheerilee not having much time to herself.
I like this story, so it's faved.
