A simple one-shot for the Author Support group's first prompt. I tried to do something a little different here, in a few ways. One being that it's my first OC story. So because of this experimenting of mine, don't expect this to be pure gold. Hopefully though, you'll still enjoy it for what it is.

Aww. Poor Dusty.

I have to say, this is a wonderful one-shot. In a way, it's a growing-up story for Dusty. He's innocent, childish, and giddy with excitement about a new adventure, but once he uncovers the treasure, he realizes that lost treasures really were treasures to someone, at some point.

Good show. Good show.

Thanks! Although I have to thank the Author Support prompt review team for giving me feedback on it. Trust me, the pacing on this used to be waaaaay worse.

If you liked Dusty, look out for more of him to come. I plan to do as many prompts as I can with him starring in them. The next one is about a pony getting their cutie marks so we'll look back into his childhood and see why he acts...well...how he acts!
