Feels like the middle of a longer story and that a deep knowlage of Gundam is nessicary as descriptions are sparse and lack detail.
Oof. I'll echo what Xanderfox said. You're assuming everyone that reads this will have a deep know how of Gundam. That's a horrible way to go about a story.
Not everyone on this site has watched the franchise. Even those who have might not have seen that particular series if you're focusing on one in general.
You don't need to explain literally everything. But if people are constantly asking what the hay you're talking about, then the story is in trouble.
I also question why Spike is the main character? He's not the worse choice, but still.

I did the lack of description was intentional on my part, I well go into deeper description of the gundam in later chapter.

Spike is my favourite character i support you on that.
To be honest, I don't like harems, but it's pretty obvious that there will be one. I'll just hope it's not the size of a skyscraper.
I’m looking forward to seeing what is to come for Spike and his future friends/wives in a universe where the Gundam series is just as popular. Also are we going to see all types of mobile suits or are we going with gundam units only!
