Thanks! You're pretty much the only one that ever provided feedback and such on my stories. Guess I wouldn't feel so bad if those that didn't like them would tell me something, anything; at least then it'd feel like I learned something.
Guess I should of joined a new writer's group and built up more followers when I started. Oh well, these were all just for fun and boredom in the end. I'll see if I can get through this one or just drift back to lurking...

Well I've got good news and bad news...

What can I say, I like what I like.
So, yeah lots of new horse-words today. I really want to finish this story, but recently work announced staff are being recalled to office duty, which will mean little free time to write (I have an hour commute each way). I also find myself pretty unmotivated to write as it seems each update brings a handful of views and downvotes (sometimes to all my stories).
We'll see what happens...

Honestly the bdsm stuff was just to challenge myself, since I have no interest in it.
I can promise after my Pinkie chapters the story is planned to go linear, but the fact I've thrown off someone who carefully tracks so many characters in their own writing tells me I bucked up royally with trying to get creative...

Thank you for your kind words. I do have to say going over my own outlines, any readers finding themselves disinterested or lost is entirely my fault.
Some of my favorite tropes in stories are broken/unreliable narration (Think something like Mr. Robot). I'm coming to understand writing like that is very hard to pull off and not for newbies like myself.
The good news is the meta first-person memory stone bits wrap up after Pinkie, so hopefully the pacing will feel more even after that and others might enjoy it more.

It's become clear not only did I bite off more than I can chew trying to write a compelling world + a clop story, but I've also discovered by chance that the twist/ending I was building towards was something that has been done several times before and handled much better.
The lack of interest plus the lack of time means I will likely just go back to lurking for now.
Not sure if cancelled stories can be resumed later, but maybe I'll come back to it if I get to start working from home again. Otherwise thank you everyone for reading and for leaving comments and feedback!
