Ok since you brought Sunset to Equestria might as well replace Twilight and Spike. Sure, why not? I guess potential for the mane 5 to have a second chance with a spike, though it not being the same one kind of lessens it, but since the real one doesn't hold any harsh feelings against them it's fine.

Pinkie giggles at the idea of it. She's glad that the backup generations are going to be useful. "Thank you, Twilight," Pinkie grabs her friends and hugs them one last time. The final group hug she'll have with them. "I'm going to stay here to monitor how many hours Sunset stays unconscious. You need to get going, now."

Wouldn't a better solution be to take human sunset into Equestria and I don't know have discord freeze or suspend her into an endless sleep. Much simpler than keep an eye on her 24 7 and I guess keep knocking her out. What if she wakes up when Pinkie or whoever is asleep? Yeah not really the best solution.

All in all a darker fic that I managed to somewhat enjoyed. Nice to see no reset button, though things weren't explained as well as I would have liked, but I'll take what I can get. If nothing else this was a wild and interesting ride. I'm interested to see what's next.

I would love to see a continuation with Pinkie Pie. It would be awesome to see how the world of EQG changed and to see a conclusion. Keep up the good work!

Also, it's thinking in the now while Pinkie, Sunset, Twilight, and Spike are sad with what transpired. If you were in their situation, would that idea come to you that easy? With the emotions running wild in your head? The trauma of watching someone you love die right before your eyes?

That's kind of the problem with having an op character like Discord who can literally bend reality to his whim and have him be an Ally. You have to find an excuse or reason to remove him or have him not do it in order to have stakes. It's not your fault it's mainly the canon show for doing that. While I am glad they ended up not getting him to reset everything, it does end up creating a plot hole, one I am fine with living with. What can you do?
