This is a Power Lottery story about a guy who gets sent to the Crystal Empire before anyone from the show arrives not counting Sombra. How will the Equestrians react to the new King of the Crystal Empire who isn't even a pony.
Well this should be interesting with the talks and nice choice of armor, wonder what the weapons of the Crystal Kingdom look like and how long it will be until firearms come into play
10505988 That to so it’s three possible ways for this to go down hill, but either way the people of the Krystal Kingdom likes their new king and don’t want anyone else screwing things up for them
10505988 Right of conquest. Sombra had driven off Celestia, Luna(maybe, not sure if she was banished before this), AND Cadence. Jekyll had defeated Sombra, who defeated the aforementioned ponies, so HE is the rightful rule.
10506325 Might makes right/Bigger army diplomacy. The various societies within the MLP world are FEUDAL as far as I am aware, therefor there are no constitutions or charters to grant rights to citizens or dictate what a ruler/rulers can and can't do.
10506695 i dident understand that entirly but i think i understood it as what the leader said goes? is that right? that would explane why celestia was able to improsion her sister and not have it end in the country falling apart.
I like the premise, setup, and potential political disasters coming up.
That said, I am seeing a red flag here. Character bias. That's not to say everyone isn't entitled to liking/disliking characters of their choosing. There can even be some fun stories come out of it. The problem is when an author gets too heavy handed. The added insults throughout the narrative, the OOC writing for the hated character and those around him trying to compensate for the forced plot. It usually ends up dragging the story down and frustrating the audience when it devolves into text that starts to read as "I hate x character. Character x should die. I hate x character" over and over again, drowning out other plot developments. My advice? If you don't like him and/or need to see him fail, have him fail in one big moment in character and have him have to struggle through to correct things later. Ex. have him do something reckless trying to be heroic after that business with the wedding and have to be bailed by the others or do something to make up for it.
Show him failing if you like, just don't let the fails eclipse your best features in the story. That's my take on it at least.
now to see if the elements accidently cause an international inccodint
so exciting and you leave it to another chapter :(
what's going on with shining armor and its gender?
guard captain bashing detected he is completely useless anyway

A 50/50 chance they will or Shinging will cause it

could be cadence as she might see her cutie mark as a right to rule them

if that was a thing that the princesses agreed on then quite a few of the villens would qualify as rightfull rulers to equestria

I see what you did there. And with all 40k references so far, when you bringing out the lazguns?
Neat image of the armor. It's like a mix between roman and medieval design.

>>warhorse
it's the Ferron armor from the dark souls series

That's armors gender
Even Cadence can see how feminine Shining Armor is, that's got to hurt
