On Christmas Eve, many years ago I lay quietly in my bed. I did not rustle the sheets. I breathed slowly and silently. I was listening for a sound I was afraid I'd never hear. The ringing bells of Santa's sleigh. Little did I realise I would be taken on a journey beyond my wildest imagination, and make some new friends along the way.
A very heavy re-write of my original adaptation of The Polar Express, with new characters, plot, and dialogue. Written for Hearth's Warming 2020.
Can't wait to see where this goes
Ohh the polar express like in the movie
Alas, the Engine Lord hath spoken.
With my intrigue , you have succeed at grabbing my attention
This looks like it will be fun.
Okay so we have a crossover with My Little Pony friendship is Magic with Polar Express one of my childhood Christmas movie cool and it looks like it's taking place in the human world ( aka Equestria girls ) so Ocellus is having some hard time believing what is not true or false but later that night the train known as The Polar Express came to her house to pick her up and apparently pharynx is the conductor very interesting choice but anyway she was hasatan to go on the train but in the last minute of course she wants to get on and her journey to the North Pole begin can't wait to see how that goes.
I still remember the original story. I look forward to seeing how different this version is
Wow. The Polar Express/MLP crossover told in first person by Ocellus! Good job

This will update daily until Christmas Day.

10586214
Got it in one!
10586044
And lo, with a great humming of thy traction motors and whirring of thy pantographs, great news is brought.
10586151
Welcoming a Sith Lord aboard one of my stories is an interesting experience, but here we go!
10586198
I think you'll enjoy what I have to offer. I promise that I've toned down the technobabble from previous stories.
10586265
Welcome abord, Thomlight, and it's great to see you again.
10586347
Cheers. More tomorrow!
10586587
Thanks
10586658
It will come as no surprise that this is one of my favourite Christmas Films (and a decent railway picture to boot), and writing from Ocellus' perspective proved to be quite entertaining.
10586669
Yeah, it will be interesting to see it in Ocellus' POV.
And I still remember when I first saw the Polar Express in the theaters
10586672
Same. Admittedly, the memories are a bit fragmented (I was only six at the time), but they're there.
10586676
I hear ya
10586678
And it's shown on TV every year. I would have added cinemas, but that's probably not happening where I am (Tier 3 lockdown, which means leisure facilities like cinemas have to stay closed).
10586698
No surprise there.
10586701
Not to mention the film opened the floodgates for motion capture content.
10586736
Quite right. And now, motion capture has made things very cool in movies and shows now
10586740
Neytiri from Avatar comes to mind. Or how about Thanos?
10586745
Yeah, and one other that comes to mind is Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7
10586746
Boy was that a great season.
10586755
Absolutely. The way it connected the dots was outstanding!
10586757
Not to mention the animation was stunning.
10586775
Indeed.
10586578
Yay!
10586814
After all, Hearth's Warming Eve is here once again!
10586826
Mhm! *ringing bells*
10586829
The choir of children sing their song/they've practiced all year long
10586861
And every time a bell rings, an angel gets it's wings
10586863
Hearth's Warming Eve is here once again ππ
10586896
Happy happy Hearth's Warming Eve!
10586863
Indeed.
10586016
The North Pole
10586896
10586898
Song thread!
10586908
I think they know that. It is the Polar Express, after all.
It's a magic carpet on a rail, never takes a rest, gliding through the mountains and the snow.
10586912
A rail? Trains normally run on two!
10586907
Yep
10586908
Good one
10586909
Mhm!
10586916
This is the livliest comment section on one of my stories in months.
10586926
Oh?
10586930
They've been generally quite quiet.
10586933
Ah
10586934
But this one is noisy.
10586937
Well, hope you get a lot more comments with future chapters
