The Eleventh Doctor (aka Matt Smith) is bumbling about in his Tardis when a crazy timey-wimey happening finds him in Equestria, a land from a children's cartoon. Despite the idea that being in the world of TV ought to be impossible, he's found himself turned into a bowtie-wearing pony in a pleasant little town known as Ponyville. What's more, the people there won't stop calling him Doctor Whooves! In order to get bet back into his own Time Lord form and out of the impossible world of My Little Pony, he may or may not have to make some new friends, fight some villains and pull out his "savior of the universe act." Geronimo!

This is a different take on Doctor Whooves, and also a sleep-deprived Doctor Who/MLP crossover idea I got in the very early hours of the morning so it could easily be rubbish. It's not meant to be terribly serious, but it's also my first fic so go easy on me. More characters could come and the rating could possibly change.

Well, that was entertaining.:pinkiehappy:

Please continue? This looks to be a VERY promising story! :pinkiehappy:

Yeah, you got 11 pretty good. I've always seen Doctor Whooves as either 10 or 11 anyways.

I know absolutely nothing about the eleventh doctor, so I can't judge how well you got the character down. The Almighty Pink One though, you got really good. The humor was nice, and I'm interested in this story. Upvoted and tracking.

I DEMAND MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:flutterrage: if thats ok i mean...:fluttershysad:

>>1168241

EVERY TIME this music plays in the show, I get super chills and I'm all like "The Doctor is about to do some crazy awesome shit YES."

To demanders of moar: Moar is coming. But updates will probably be erratic. School takes its toll....:twilightsheepish:

Thanks for positive feedback everyone :pinkiehappy:

>>1168126

And I as well. It's just way too hard to imagine an Eccleston pony.

Not a serious idea, indeed. Silly Matt Smith, running about like a proper lunatic. Can't wait for him to learn about the sun and moon, though. That'll be rather entertaining, I'd say.

This is great! Me gusta! :moustache:

This one certainly got my attention. Eagerly awaiting the next chapters.

Also, Tardis Traveler. You sir have the most unexpected avatar I've ever seen. Ghirahim riding Rainbow Dash is something I'd never thought I'd see.

>>1169390

Glad you're interested...but that's ma'am to you. :rainbowwild:

Yeah, I didn't think I'd ever see it either, but it made my life a thousand times better. :yay: The original art's by Evomanaphy on deviantART.

Oh I like this, really I do.

I always liked to think that the worlds we create with our imaginations exist in some sort of pocket dimension.

>>1172001

Thanks, I'm glad you do! :yay:

Also: my favorite man on the planet saying the one of the things I LOVE to hear him say the most like thirty times over? :rainbowhuh: That is the best compliment imaginable. :pinkiehappy:

>>1172065

It was the only compliment I could think of after reading this. I was trying to find him saying "bloody brilliant" but this worked so much better.:rainbowwild:

Oh I wish the 10th would make a cameo with the 11th, 10 was my favorite doctor.

Also it was 63 +/- 3

>>1172079

That would be FATASTIC. 10 is my favorite as well, I just chose to do this in 11 style since I just finished up watching his seasons in time for the next season premiere and my brain is still on Matt Smith.

63....I never was good at estimates. :derpyderp1:

>>1172173

I don't think the Doctor is any good at estimates either...He's either spot on(which isn't really an 'estimate') or waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off the mark.

I think 11's style works better than 10's would for a MLP crossover. 11 just has that childish charm about him which works well in conjunction with the cartoony world of MLP (literal cartoony world in the case of this story :rainbowwild:)

This is amazing! And don't worry, you captured his personality perfectly. An expert writer couldn't have done better! This is great, my two favorite shows in one fanfic! Please continue!

>>1175210

You've just made my day, you have no idea. Thank you! I'll certainly be continuing :raritystarry:

I always thought we made worlds with our will. That, or we get psychic feedback from every other universe and certain people can tap into it, and thus make absolutely brilliant entertainment. Very nice job with the Eleventh by the way. ~ With regards, the Current Student of the Second True Magic.

Interesting :trixieshiftright: You did a brilliant job with with the doctor's personality, but I feel like you missed one detail, the rants. If I remember right the 11th Doctor rants a lot more then this. (Still, fantastic though!) And, as for the story, it was quite interesting, and will definitely be getting a favorite. Keep up the good work! :pinkiehappy:

>>1179364

Ahh...glad you mentioned that! I was trying going too long with rants 'cause I figured that might get a bit old/repetitive, but I certainly plan on having some in the future. :scootangel:

So I'm sorry if y'all don't like the sort of light pace to this. I'm looking for a slower build-up to the bigger action. (also shhhh, don't tell, but I was feeling really short on ideas for this chapter) :twilightsheepish: Ending it the way I did was slightly painful :fluttershysad:

Rarity is much harder to write than I would have thought. Ngh. Pointers on personality portrayal if I've done something that seems OOC are always welcome!

And yes. Fear of apples is a real phobia.

>>1169008

I think we can all agree that there needs to be one.

*sob* NOOO! NO THE BUNNIIIEEESS!

>>1183159 ITS TIME FOR THE DOCTOR TO INVESTIGATE!

>>1183211

Yeah, you're right. He is amazing, after all, despite the sad fact that people skip his season.

>>1183246

OH YES IT IS.

Edit. OMGWHUT I GOT FEATURED. Thank you, you lovely people, for making that happen. :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy: :pinkiehappy:

:fluttercry:Nooooooooooooooooo! I hope Angel isn't amongst the trio, poor Fluttershy. Don't worry the Doctor is here to help comfort you.

Honestly I think you did rather well writing Rarity, generosity and all I could see her doing the patch job free, maybe the fez...and the sudden inspiration, yeah can totally see that happening even up to asking the Doctor to model...oh Timelord I can't think of a worse thing to do to him. The Doctor could barely handle waiting for an invisible monster to show up, he'd lose all sense of sanity having to stand and model. New fashion line of Doctor swag...Equestria will never be the same.:rainbowlaugh:

Edit: You totally deserve the feature.

Oh how I love a good Doctor story! :pinkiehappy:

did anyone but me read it in matt smith's voice

. . . I'm going to murderize whatever did that to Fluttershy. Also, awesome Doctor characterization. Time to investigate! GERONIMOE!   ~ With regards, the Current Student of the Second True Magic.

>>1183458

Well, it was my goal for people to read it as him. Are you saying you did read it in his voice or didn't? :derpyderp2:

>>1183397

Thanks for the positive feedback! It's really very encouraging.

I could never be THAT cruel to Fluttershy, though. As much as I hate Angel. :fluttershyouch:

...."Is this how time normally passes? Really slowly.....in the right order...."

>>1183496 Well........It looks like those bunnies might need a....(Puts on sunglasses) Doctor YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!:ajsmug:

>>1172065

You THIEF! You utter, utter, thief! What? The Story? No, that's his. MY PEN NAME! You've stolen my FanFiction PEN NAME!:twilightangry2::flutterrage:

Man, I hope you get this is a joke.

>>1183634

Okay, you got me. I admit I didn't foresee that one. :rainbowlaugh:

>>1183649

I was completely baffled and bemused until I read the last line. :trollestia:

IS ANGEL DEAD? PLEASE SAY HE'S DEAD.

The Doctor?  Will read after huge backlog of other stories.

>>1183293

Wait... People skip his season!? :pinkiegasp:

But he was awesome! Yeah it was short, but it was awesome.

>>1183797

As much as I'd love to say that, I don't think I could bring myself to write Fluttershy's ensuing heartbreak. So...no solid ideas yet, but I don't think he is.

>>1183862

I've heard that people often skip Eccleston, yeah, just because he's supposedly "not as good" compared to Tennant and Smith and because they think they can blow him off since he's just one season. Which makes no sense, since watching his season explains *everything.*

Awesome, can't wait for a new update. I'm really liking this so far!

Also: NOOOO NOT THE BUNNIES! :fluttercry:

Yes! Docor Whooves story! In time for the new season!

DOUBLE HAPPY!

That was great! You described the Doctor perfectly!:pinkiehappy:

>>1183293

Eccleston's Doctor is very underrated. People say he doesn't stand out because he only had one season.

But come on. For that one season, he was pretty damn good. Coincidentally, I just watched "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances" the other day. People don't know what they're saying, Eccleston was FANTASTIC.

>>1168126

Because again, most people are familiar with Tennant and Smith, and not so much with Eccleston. And not enough people watch the classic series either, which is unfortunate.

I could picture the 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) working very well with this sort of crossover. Coincidentally, look who's on my desktop rotation cycle right now!
