Here to show you what real creativity is. I'm rusty at animation and haven't set up my voice recorder, but I write alot and try to bring a fresh look to it.

A new change in life brings a different reaction for everyone. Since her brother got married and she gained a sister-in-law into the household, Applejack is starting to feel like a third wheel living on the farm. The ambitious decision she makes however will explain how she and Rainbow Dash became roommates.

Even though it’s not meant to be romantic like you said, this is very much worthy to go into my library and Appledash folder.

That works. To me Applejack and Rainbow Dash have always had more of a sisterly relationship than anything else.

Interesting take on Appledash.

Yeah I agree, I honestly don't see what others see in the Appledash ship. I mean is it just because they're both competitive tomboys? I'm no expert in relationships but isn't that like a bad foundation to try and build a romantic relationship out of?
I don't know. But I do know I may have just started a war from just typing this in haven't I

But seriously, this was a very nice short story that I can easily see some creative comedic scenarios out of if it ever gets explored more :pinkiehappy:

I've never been that big a fan of the AppleDash ship myself, as Applejack never struck me as the gay sort, I think assuming Rainbow Dash also to be gay is a stereotype, and the whole ship overall just strikes me as cliche and predictable. I find there's more originality to be found in just keeping them as friends.

Fortunately, the show never officially stated one way or the other, and deliberately wanted to leave it up to fan interpretation, so assuming a non-ship scenario is still perfectly valid.

As for the story itself, it's a nice little tale, though I can see what you mean about it not being quite what you had wanted. On that point, the logic for why Applejack wants to move out in the first place, though valid, does seem a little contrived, so maybe if a better motivation was given for it...personally, I would've figured it was more for personal reasons for AJ, but that's my two-bits.

Regardless, it still gets the job done, and that's important too. Sorta wish we got a peek into the life of AJ, Granny, Apple Bloom, and RD all bunking together in one place, but that's probably a story for another day anyway.

You have given those who don’t ship AppleDash/FlutterCord happiness.

Well, If you ask me, the main personal reason AJ wants to really move out is because she may or may not have heard the posts from a bed clang against the wall in a certain part of the house one too many times :ajbemused:

Also, fun fact I don't know if anyone noticed but Apple Jack was wearing Granny Smith's scarf at least there is more than one.
And Apple Bloom was wearing Goldie Delicious' thingy (I don't know if you can call that a scarf or not.)

In all seriousness though, that is sort of what I'm talking about--Applejack clearly feels uncomfortable staying there, and there's probably lots to say and figure out how and why exactly and if she's even justified to or if its even really necessary for her to feel like that, perhaps enough for an totally separate story even, but that's neither here nor there.

Sometimes you just have to like two characters and put them together in a romantic sense. Use your imagination.

Simple as that.

Amen to that. And I'm not saying that these two should never be together, I'm just saying it's harder for me to imagine that, but it's clearly much easier for others to use their imagination on. it's what makes the world round

The apple clan can build a barn in an afternoon, why couldn’t they just make a house?

The carpentry and foundation setting involved in a house is a lot more complex then a barn, and that's not even getting into insulation, plumbing , and wiring.
