very beginning, they thought he ate children because he was an old and creepy storyteller. just like some kids thing the old person in the rickety house down the street catches children, its idle fantasy.
Is Fizban a referance most any book written by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman? Most notably Dragonlance and the Deathgate Cycle (he goes by Zifnab in it).
