Quick tip: people generally react better to numbers below one-hundred written out instead of, well, just numbers. They're not that much longer; it makes your story come across as lazy if you don't, as if you're not ready to put in the effort to type three letters (six) over one (6).

I felt it helps that being in the Cadets, he's probably dealt with having to clean up much larger messes or do much more active clean-up duty somewhere in his training. Plus, I'm sure Sweetie Belle will keep in mind how much he tried to help her, when she returns the clothes.
There are few things I like more than Sweetie Belle being a little playful, just like she was toward the end of their visit to the castle. It's great to see you've done as good a job with it here as you did with her in Expansive Romance

It's great to see a new chapter out! I'm happy to see you're still going strong with this! Even though I'm mostly in it for the expansion smut, I love this story! I love the fact Sweetie Belle, who was mostly trying to show reservations, truly loves Chrome. But she's having a hard time accepting it cause of her massive bosom. Worried she's only loved for her body.

I don’t know if I mentioned it, but there’s also the fact that Sweetie Belle dropped her first year major, so she’s currently undecided on just what she wants to pursue.
Though also for her reaction to Chrome being attacked, I feel she’s reacting just like she and her friends would if someone got hurt. They would surely keep that level of heart they had as little fillies.

My goal when writing this was to make it it’s own world so I couldn’t just be thought of as telling the same story as in Applebloom and Coral Leaf’s story. In that story, the love story is a bit more of a film/TV story in that the teenage couple fall in love over the course of weeks to a few months.
In this story, I wanted a more serious mindset with the girls in their college age years. I was mainly thinking of transposing that seriousness that the FIM series did to the Mane 6, where it was more about what they were doing and who they are rather than getting them coupled.

That's fair. A very slow buildup with in-character approaches is always valid. Having Chrome's ability to use magic becoming a hurdle for him to overcome and dealing with punks in the Cadets. And seeing him being stubborn and trying to act tough.
Sweetie Belle having to deal with college, her very slowly growing burdens causing her no end of trouble in social life, and is helping Chrome overcome his hurdle on top of her own studies.
Setting this into the world where life rears it's ugly head from time to time. I can truly appreciate the work you're putting into this story.

Hmm, maybe.
I would agree that forcing someone to tell the truth via spell or potion would violate thier rights and free will.
However, I would argue that if the teller agreed/swore to tell the truth in a legal proceeding, then a Truth spell would be permissible. Indeed, if the dependent balked at accepting a Truth spell after swearing to only tell the truth, that would be a mark against him. To protect the rights of the dependent, im sure there would be very strict rules on the use of Truth spells, and on the questions the prosecution was allowed to ask.
I would also point out that as Chrome Shield and his (supposed) attackers are military officers in training, this might become a military trial, were the rules are different. For instance, in a military trial you do not have the right to remain silent, you must answer the prosecution or be dishonorably discharged from the military.

I'd say you did a pretty good job on that and I can actually see this happening. The Crystal Empire and Canterlot doing a program for Cadets and Royal Guardsmen to do a unity program after some years of everyone getting older, the years going by, left alot of change to happen.
I've been looking forward to this. This will be an evening to remember!
