Although I was a little worried it would take away from the theme/tradgy of how rarity and Twilight Sparkle couldn’t touch each other, and to some effect how love didn’t always have to be physical, I wasn’t going to comment.
Although I’m happy with what you ended up doing, I say you did that justice, while having fun with your own story. I can somewhat picture this being a scene within the enchanted library at some point if it focused more on that bit how how they could feel, yet never touch. Still a good light reading as a EL fan
Yes to that ending please. There is just a incomprehensible lack of RariTwiShy in this universe that need to be acknowleged.
Its already sad that Rarilight, Twishy and Rarishy in of themselves are not as common as Appledash, Rarijack, Flutterdash or Twidash. And while i absolutly adore these (I dont really have my own OTP that stands above all) there is already so much of them. And there is bearly anything on Rarity/Twilight/Fluttershy together.
And Monos' stories just have a dynamic between these 3 that make me want more of them together.

Please keep in mind, I know I can be overly critical and negative at times. I can always find something to nitpick, even in the greatest works of literature ever written. Please don't take it personally!
-I feel like I'm missing quite a lot from not having read the prequel story.
-Opening might be trying a bit too hard?

Soon enough other emotions entered the fray as love, affection, happiness, and lust wafted forth, adding to the cloud of endorphins that their personalities found themselves in.-- very tell rather than show.-Seems so preoccupied with the paraphernalia and the spell that it misses the important parts.
-Not sure what the deal is with Twilight. Is this necrophilia or not?
-Ectoplasm was a cute touch.

Yeah this review is fair if you've never read TEL but a lot of the issues do come down to needing to have read TEL to understand it.
The focus on the spell for example was due to its importance in TEL. And the style choices were done to kind of mimic mono's style.
In general I enjoy your writing, but you were setting some new and even higher expectations here.
And I was not disappointed. Fantastic fic!
A Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight threesome..... I can see the light and it looks goooooood! Look forward to that sequel.
