Many years ago airships criss-crossed the skies of Equestria by the hundreds. Then the Day of Wrath happened. The little village of Greenroots was one of the victims.

I like to start a new doc when I have *an inspiration* and get it down before I forget it. I can come back any time later and expand it. So one of those quicky short stories just spawned 3 sequels before I even got it finished. My original idea was to "clear the pipes" so I could get back to work on my main story.

So just let it perk for a while. Sooner or later the potential will find itself an outlet.

An enjoyable read with a very well done atmosphere and lore. My only complaint would be a few semi-recurrent errors in formatting and punctuation, most notably in direct speech. Can explain more if needed, though I’ll refrain from doing so in this comment—I am aware that not everyone likes people pointing out errors in the comment section.

Still, thank you for this story!
