This was pretty well-written and I liked all the descriptions of the darkness and the wolves and the action! The part talking about them hearing the howls in the distance really caught my attention. Very nicely done.

I didn't know that Bliss was a writer. I know that she is careful of how her OC is represented, and I didn't expect a first chapter like this from her. It has a lot of action and a bit more violence than I expected. This has caught my intrigue and I can't wait to see where this leads from here. I will praise her for her attention to scenery and detail. It's something I need to be working on for my stories again.

Why does Lightning Bliss have such big ears?
I always imagined Scorpan and Tireck to be from the desert land.
I don't think it's a good idea to be calling her cute, Scorpan or she'll blast you with rainbow magic. Also, I hope she's okay.

You know, one thing that I'be always been slightly confused about is how The Rift/Secret Rift character fit in to the world.
It's easy to see many of them have Equestrian residences: Dr. Wolf has his practice, Jasper has his pizzaria, Firebrand and his military base, and Silver Quill kind of mills about Ponyville too, I think.
So, my question sort of touches on this, what exactly separates the person using avatars to make reviews and in-universe characters that don't have the forsight a viewer would?
For example, Lightning has her own realm and she makes her videos and does her reviews, meaning she's watched the series and thus should know who Scorpan is. However, here, she doesn't.
So, what is the seperation? Are the Analysis Community (in-universe) a special group of creatures with the ability of foresight that also have access to secret realm? Or are they just relatively normal creatures that share a common trait of pattern-detecting and introspection about the world around them?
Sorry if that seemed confusing. It's just something I've thought of sometimes while watching/reading Analysis Community content. Like where this story is going so far, Doc! Can't wait to see what's next!

Also I know how It feels to be ignored by your sister. I haven't seen my older sister in years. But I soon realised she was in an abusive relationship with her husband and he won't let her talk to us. But we helped her escape and now living with someone who cares.
Poor Lightning Bliss...poor Scorpan. I hope Doctor Wolf and Lightning Bliss make it back okay, I'm sure their friends as well as their partners are equally worried. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if you write a chapter of Commander Firebrand heading a search-and-rescue to find them right as they get back. Like:
"Alright troops, no one said this was going to be easy. But Lightning Bliss and Doc are out there somewhere, and we need to bring them back! Keyframe, Golden Fox, you'll search the North..."
"Um...guys?"

Full analysis: I never expected Lightning Bliss to write about herself, seeing as she doesn't like others writing about her OC. I was rather intrigued that she would write about getting wounded in such a shocking way, but it added an element of storytelling I never expected of her. Then there was Scorpan, and his interactions with the two travelers. Their interactions were compelling and allowed both main characters to take stances that are unique and wouldn't often be seen. I do admit that I was expecting a bigger climax, but it was a great read, and I'd like to see more work from her in the future.
