(Collab with Latecomer who suggested the idea. Takes place after "The Hearth's Warming Club".)
Even though he and his friends are staying over the holiday break to be with Gallus, Sandbar has made his own plans for Hearth's Warming. Those plans get upended when his parents have to leave and unexpectedly task him with foalsitting his baby sister, Coral.
Despite Sandbar having some prior foalsitting experience, he decides to rope his friends into helping him with his important assignment. Which is quickly complicated by the fact that none of them know how ponies raise their young.
To complicate things further, Sandbar is soon hospitalized after hitting his head against a tree. So his friends have to take turns checking up on him, and keeping Coral under control. A problem when she is going through "potty training" which is something Sandbar's friends know very little about.
Remind everyone who Coral is.

I don’t know if Coral is the canon name for Sandbar’s little sister, but if it isn’t then I know I’m stealing it. That tyke is adorable in this.
10027644 Well, it sort of is. According to the fandom wiki her name is officially Coral Currents. There's also a name on there for Sandbar's mother, though nothing on the father.

Oh, come on. I've read babysitting stories where crazier things have happened. I think the Young 6 did pretty well.
An interesting and sweet interpretation. I wouldn't have figured dragons go cold so easily with a body full of flame, but I suppose the winter cold might drain even that.

The duo of you guys really make for good, heartwarming stories. This one read very well and gave us quite the believable episode. The chaos of the other creatures trying to figure out, and work with, Coral would be the stuff that Discord could even appreciate.
The behaviors of Coral were interesting, too. As I'm a father, and could see during my son's younge years, I would notice him put his hands over his ears when a sound bothered him. (Given I have a very loud mouth this happened quite frequently)
Her affection for sand Bar was also well illustrated through Ocellus' transformation. Little siblings tend to want to be like their bigger sibling as they seem like they can do anything and the littler one wants to have the same abilities and privledges.
Each of The Student Six did a great job while playing an important part in the story. No one stole the show and that is hard to do when using so many characters.
I'm sure Sand Bar and his parents will get to hear lots of stories on how all of Sand Bar's friends are cool and how Coral would like to have them back over to play. :)
