This was a great read. I felt I could just keep reading. I was sadden when it end. I hope for a continuation of this story. As I am sure it would be as equally impressive.

It clicked into my head who it was a few paragraphs before the reveal. Loved this story, kept me on my toes a little trying to figure out who it was. The reveal was great, and the rest of the story was just adorable.

I probably could have kept writing, but at the time, I couldn't think of anything else to add. In hindsight, I probably could have added a little more dialog at the end, though I'm still not sure what. I'm not sure how I would continue it, but maybe I'll come up with an idea.
This, I found rather cute. And I was thinking "Maybe it is..." And it was, though I was also thinking it could've been best pony, Fluttershy…
...Or Rarity's sister, that would be a curveball.

Nice! This is an awesome story to add to your collection! And even if it's the first Twilestia you've written, it's some of the best I've read, so well done! Just makes me more excited for The Night's Stars continuing forward. Though, as I've said before commenting on that story, (or maybe I haven't, I can't remember) rushing that romance would probably feel more awkward than anything else, so I'm happy to see that story go at the pace it needs to. Back to this story though, I love how well you've nailed how these two would probably interact this many years passed the show's end. Just seems too perfect honestly. Something else I love is how you've written a Twilight that has obviously had time to become confidant in herself and her rule but is still awkward around her friends when she's not leading them.

Oh my gods this was so adorable I think I cant think of anything that wouldn't be terribly cliche to finish the sentence with.
I feel blessed to be the 200th like, you deserve it. With how short this story is you did well to convey their feelings so effectively!
This was oh so very sweet. Honestly, when I started reading I half-expected the game to look something like this: Everypony is giving a blindfolded Twilight a kiss and she has to guess who's who. Pinkie gives her a quick, sloppy smooth on the cheek, Fluttershy's lips barely graze her fur on her forehead, and so on. And she has to figure out who did what, until that one kiss that just went in without inhibitions. While that would have been a funny way to show how familiar Twi is with her friends, and it could have been a slight misdirection for a brief while, I think I like your version better.
Even though I must say, goodness gracious, that's some trust. It's a circle of eight friends and she trusts them enough to play along with that. Hoo boy. Strong friendships. I wouldn't play along with something like this with my friends, but then again, I'm a scaredy cat anyway.
I love their chemistry. When I started out in this fandom many years ago, I was fully on board with the whole 'she's her surrogate daughter/pupil, that's wrong'-thing, but that changed over time due to some very talented writers. I like how tender and careful Celestia is. How playful she can be. It's great.
