It will be so dang satisfying to see that farmer panic like that! (It's not that I hate Applejack or anything, I actually like her. I just have this weird thing for characters who break their own mold).
Although, speaking of Applejack's worst fear: I don't know if I am convinced that being these fruit bats, since she seems to hate them more than being afraid of them. But hey, you're the writer, whatever it is I know you'll handle it very well.
Truly, you deserve recognition, I really feel the fear when I read this (or maybe I'm too easy to scare haha).

That this monster has managed to terrify someone like Applejack (who is easily one of the most rational and stable characters in the series) gives him a big plus. At least in my opinion.
And that closure with the clown in question and read APPLEJACK crying...really makes you realize how profound THAT can disturb them.
