However there could be some improvements...
improvements as in character development with Rainbow Dash and her love for Soarin
I think she could've taken more time discovering her feelings

Well this is a pretty start of a story so it looks like Twilight and the others want to show appreciation to Rainbow they ask one of the Wonderbolts name soarin which she was pretty excited that she's hanging out with him and they spend the whole day learning how to fly and everything but then towards the end of the day he looks like rainbow starting to have this feeling that she's in love and now she needs to talk to somebody about this I wonder who she could have talk to

Oh boy something tells me this won't go very well so rainbow was asking one of her friends about this whole love relationship apparently what Fluttershy said that rainbow is not really good when it comes to committing to relationships and Rarity gave a pretty good lessons about that and when Soarin arrived Rainbow Dash was feeling a little nervous but she tried to act cool but until it went completely downhill when she kissed him and oh boy this is not going to end well
