Loved that exchange between Sweetie and Twilight. Hopefully, Twilight does end up doing the right thing in the end.
Damn, I feel bad for Chrissy she doesn't deserve the punishment her mother caused.
Yeah, Rarity didn't earn herself any points with Celestia in that exchange. Though it helped Celestia get what she wanted out of Chrysalis, so it wasn't a total loss either.
Great chapter. I loved Sweetie Belle and Twilight, especially the joke with the snake. :D
Jesus. Fucking brutal.

And what is that?

Depends on your perspective, as well as what you believe Twilight's priorities should be.
Crap I missed a update

Personally, I don't think there is a right answer here. Not unless Twilight can get Luna and Celestia to change. Of course thats not looking likely.
Twilight and Sweetie's interactions have been on of the best things to read. Every time they get to interact with each other it's more often than not a wholesome affair. Something light-hearted contrasting the brutality that was the the ticular scene with Chrysalis.

Fun fact: Not only was Sweetie Belle not intended to be a reoccurring character, she initially wasn't going to be in the story at all. But she managed to fill a very specific slot, and now she's (in my opinion) one of the most interesting parts of the whole thing

So glad you reversed course and added her in! She's practically the only character we seen so far who's been fairly level-headed amongst the current cast. And again, she's written to be a much needed breather after more serious situations and gives Twilight more moments of acting as "normal" as she could.
I love how Sweetie Belle is just like: 'Oh boy, severed fingers!'

the right answer is whichever involves the least death and the most freedom

Victory at the expense of the innocent is no victory at all
