This story is a sequel to Equestria Girls: The Inner Twilight

In a world of Men of Steel, Men without Fear, Scarlet Speedesters and Gods of Thunder, someone like Derpy Hooves doesn't really measure up. Until she stumbles on a seemingly ordinary looking rotary phone dial, but by dialling the code H-E-R-O into it, Derpy gains the ability to transform into a random superhero, complete with name, costume and those sweet powers. But, as always, with great power comes great responsibly and Derpy has to learn that fast, all the while trying to protect the ones she cares about.

REALLY good start on this first chapter of your latest story. The action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up were all well done in all the right places. Yeah, can't blame the girls for being upset about how Derpy messed them up when they were trying to catch the Molten Man, but I still feel sorry for Derpy considering she didn't exactly mess them up on purpose, so it's one of those situations where you CAN see it on both sides. But, let's see what new super-form Derpy starts out with now that she has discovered the H-Dial.

You're quite welcome.

The title reminds me of Dexter's Laboratory. I might check it out

I agree but disagree on one part.

IT'S TOO FAST! It need to be flesh out, stretched out, it so fast can't take it seriously.

Could flesh it out how sad Derby felt, maybe a few tears and such. Flesh out her trying to find shelter then finding the phone booth, flesh out feeling depressed or just thinking. Before she does that bit with the phone which was heart breaking that was very good.

Other then that it's decent.

H-dial? Loved that little item.

Well, yeah. I suppose those ARE valid points. On the other hand, Golden and Silver Age comic books ALSO had a tendency to be fast-paced, which I am mature enough to respect. Similarly, there are some authors that favor fast-paced work. This author is one of them, which I have come to accept and respect.

Once again, really good job on the characterizations, exchange, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. And, yeah, Derpy/Starburst foiled that robbery, but there are plenty of other, MUCH more dangerous criminals out there.

The chapter was far better and like where this is going. I read the Dial H for Hero comic, thou was a reboot of the series.

It was cool but then they went down a darker ending not sure why..but all I could think was WTF?!

Once again, this is a well done chapter. Love the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. LOVED the look into Derpy's family life as well as her interaction with her friends. Of course, Vinyl can't talk, but her talking could be easily explained Vinyl having the tech skills to make herself a fully functional artificial voice box (after all, this is a Fantasy Kitchen Sink world; a fully functional artificial voice box would be VERY MUCH in the realm of the possible). Just one thing: the name was STARburst, not Sunburst. Sunburst is the name of Starlight Glimmer's childhood friend. And, well, next chapter we will see what super-form Derpy has gained NOW.

Once again thank you for the comment:twilightsmile:, also thank you for the spell check and Vinyl actual does have a voice and not an electronic voice box, as always thank you for your continued support:raritywink:

You're very welcome.

REALLY good job on this latest chapter. Love the work that went into the action, characterizations, exchanges and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I especially liked Derpy, as both Thumbelina AND Hole Punch, taking down those bad guys and, in the latter identity, helping that family.

As always, you are quite welcome.

REALLY good job on this latest chapter. Love the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter content. Loved how Derpy found out about the phone-detach following her stopping Condiment King and Eye Scream. And really good escalation foreshadowing concerning Hammerhead and his mysterious boss (most likely one of the more major crime bosses in either New York or Gotham City [not that there is a shortage of those types in either of those cities]).

At any rate, I will very definitely be looking forward to more of this

This chapter might have taken a while, but was quite well worth the wait. The exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I especially liked Derpy's reaction to changing into a pre-existing heroine and taking care of the Absorbing Man and Titania. And wonderful set-up concerning Chameleon and Madame Rouge (disguised as police officers), having a NOT-so-friendly chat with the two defeated villains.

All in all, I will very certainly be looking forward to more of this.

Once more this is a really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in this latest installment. LOVED the scene with Derpy and the Doc as well as the detail of what happens when the H-Dial turns you into a pre-existing hero. And, yeah, the bit with Hammerhead's two most recent hires definitely sets up a fair amount of action for the next chapter.

You're quite welcome.

Once more, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I especially liked seeing Derpy, as Galaxy Girl, laying the smackdown on Scorpion and Locust as well as the future set-up detail of Bon Bon's absence.

Very definitely going to be looking forward to more of this.

Again, really good job on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I love all the hirelings Hammerhead tried calling in (a couple of them even Superman-level heavyweights) that Derpy beat in her assorted hew super-hero alter-egos. And, yeah, Hammerhead is getting desperate enough to call in a couple of androids who BOTH have the powers of MULITPLE heroes. That's probably going to get REALLY rough.

At any rate, I will definitely be looking forward to more of this.

You're quite welcome once again.

REALLY good job on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Yeah. That fight with Amazo was really well done, especially since it took long enough and took enough out of her for Derpy to change back before she could get away and for some of her friends to figure out her secret.

VERY certainly going to be looking forward to seeing what's next.

9863171
again, thanks for the support:twilightsmile::raritywink:

9864112
My pleasure, as usual.

And now, Hammerhead knows Derpy's secret and is going to be targeting her friends. This is going to get bad. And, yeah, I DID like Derpy's chat with the others.

All in all, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.

Definitely feeling bad for how Derpy's friends got kidnapped, but I have to give Whooves credit for being prepared like that.

At any rate, excellent job on the exchange, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places as usual.

9869589
Also always thanks for the support:twilightsmile::raritywink:

Again, this is a really well done chapter. The action, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I especially liked Derpy using the stuff in her costume to make short work of the guards before the Super-Apaptoid showed up. And, yeah, the suit got trashed in the fight with the aforementioned Super-Adaptoid, but at least Derpy thought ahead herself.

Anyway, definitely going to be looking forward to more of this.

9879118
you are welcome:twilightsmile:, and thank you for the support:raritywink:

Loved Derpy's fights with the Super-Adaptoid and Mister Negative. Indeed, Derpy made some pretty good points to Mister Negative during the fight. It's ironic that Mister Negative came to this town to get away from super-heroes even though, currently, it has more super-heroes than New York.

Anyway, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I am VERY definitely looking forward to more of this.

REALLY good job on the epilogue. Loved how the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents helped Derpy's friends get free as well as Derpy's reaction to Bon Bon's own bit of truth. My favorite part though, was the very end with Derpy and Whooves.

All in all, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up in all the right places. I'll certainly be looking forward to more from this universe.

No problem whatsoever.

I like the story, but only thing i don't like how Derpy never got apology from how harshly Twilight rip into her.
I get she made a mistake but the way she tore into her was too far.
