Most of the comics are decent, even though their canon-status is "they're canon until they aren't" and the show has a habit of overruling them a lot. It's the ones that aren't that draw the most attention (cough Anon-a-Miss cough) and are why people hate on the comics in general.

Not trying to counter you, but not many people are aware: the show actually has a tendency to reference the comics a LOT and nobody notices. O&O came from the comics. So did the filly scout guides. Rainbow and Fluttershy were at their reunion (comics) according to Twilight Sparkle in P.P.O.V. (show). Rarity's Season 8+ logo on her bags is from the comics. The show does this all the time, especially from Season 6 onwards.
