I must say that I like the idea you are going with Inky_Quill, because when that episode aired I thought that discord must use pinkie pie to his advantage since he likes the element of laughter.
1076121 Ya, I don't think they could have done a better job than they did, and I understand why they decided just to use Pinkie Pie as comic relief in the first half of Return of Harmony, Pt 1. After all, she's a very funny character. But the way they portray her, she could easily sympathize with Discord if she was given the right kind of nudge. I was too curious, and I had to see it play out, so I made it happen. That being said, I would love to see a more experienced writer give a different interpretation of this premise. But right now, I'm focused on bringing a satisfying resolution to the whole affair, and I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Also the first time I saw those episodes I think some feelings got forced outta me since I got myself some spoilers about him(still thought he was pretty cool though) the second time I watched it was the time I started shipping DiscoPie... and I just said what happened the third time... You know I find that a bit hilarious. Pinkie saying Discord has to obey Celestia because she is the princess. Discord was the king and Celestia with Luna overthrew him. Any who interesting story.
