Life is fleeting. You always knew that one day your time would come but you didn't know it would be so soon.... Neither did they. When you sacrifice your life to save another the gods have no idea what to do with you so they give you a choice. Move on or get a second chance at life in a new world. With no idea what awaits in this new world how will your life progress.
This story came to me when I was reading a lot of other Gamer in Equestria stories. They always end up with the main character being some over powered hulk of an abomination almost from the start. This is my idea of what happens if instead you have a steady power gain that doesn't end with you brokenly strong.

Charisma, of course. Loads of points into that. Get the world to adore you, and you can accomplish anything. In addition, intelligence and wisdom can over come any obstacle. Boulder in the way? With enough charisma, you can garner yourself an entourage. and have some big hulking fan move it for you. Need help purchasing something? Have one of your followers buy it for you. A fight? Nonsense, you're so popular those whom would do you harm are willing to join you! WAHAHAHA!
