SuperPinkBrony12

I'm a brony and a Pinkie Pie fan but I like all of the mane six, as well as Spike. I hope to provide some entertaining and interesting fanfics for the Brony community.

This story is a sequel to The Amazing Spider Mare: The Symbiote Saga

(Dedicated in loving memory of Stan "The Man" Lee, co-creator of Spider Man, 1922-2018. Takes place in an alternative universe post Season 5.)

Hold onto your hooves, true believers! Spider Mare is back once again, and this time she's bringing along her new crime fighting partner, Black Cat.

A new crime syndicate is making a name for itself in Ponyville and all across Equestria, but authorities are puzzled by the mysterious nature of the criminals and their unknown leader. Spidey and Black Cat investigate, but even they have no clue who or what they're up against.

Meanwhile, from the shadows emerges an even greater threat than a crime syndicate. Four of the web slinger's greatest enemies are freed during a prisoner transfer and brought before two more villains with an ax to grind against our web slinging, crime fighting duo.

All the while, Pinkie Pie is distracted not just by her new relationship with Cheese Sandwich, but also by the boss for her Aunt Suzanne's new job at a local homeless shelter. Little does she know that said boss harbors a dark secret. One that will unleash perhaps her greatest arch-enemy yet.

I actually read the description in his voice.

I like Spider-Man, I like MLP, so liking this is a no brainer for me. Big fan of the 2018 game too. My only knit pick, and we'll blame comic autism on this, is that shocker's powers are actually based on shockwaves from air vibration, not electricity. Other than that, nice work so far, fellow true believer.

Excellent job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. And, yeah, love the respectful nods to Stan Lee's memory.

Definitely on to the next chapter.

Loved the scene with Twilight familiarizing Pinkie and Cheese with the upgrades to their gear. As well as the meeting with Copper Top.

Wonderful job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.

And, on to the next chapter.

Again, this is a great job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Loved the fight in the warehouse, as well as the interrogation scene AND the fight with Shocker.

And, I'm off to the next chapter.

LOVED how Venom and Carnage busted out the other super-villains. That is wonderful set-up for later. As well as the detail concerning Tartarus requiring the approval of the Princesses.

Anyway, very good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places.

And, again, off to the next chapter.

Again, loved the meeting with Copper Top. As well as Pinkie's civilian identity investigation into "Mister Lee". And I'm guessing Sandbar is basically going to be in the role of Miles Morales.

Anyway, really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.

And, I'm on to the next chapter.

Really good pick for Venom's new host. And, yeah, love the points on getting the villains to work as a team. Also a good point on the fact that they AREN'T exactly going for the "Villain With Good Publicity" deal, but rather the "Card-Carrying Villain" deal.

Anyway, you, again, did a really good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.

Again, love the work that went into the second fight with Shocker, as well as the bit earlier where Pinkie and Cheese are discussing possible investigation plans. And, yeah, I DO know about Mister Lee, but I won't spoil it for the other readers.

Anyway, the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places.

And I'm on to the next chapter.

REALLY good job on the chat between Pinkie and Starlight. I particularly liked how Pinkie and Starlight BOTH had good points (Starlight concerning how much help it can be to find ways to grant super-powers and Pinkie concerning how dangerous that kind of power is in the possession of the wrong individuals).

Anyway, you, again, did an excellent job and I'm going to read the next chapter now.

Really good job on this chapter too. Loved Pinkie's chat with Mayor Mare as she is going through trying to find Lee's files.

Anyway, yeah, this story took a while to get started, but, thus far, it has been WELL worth the wait.

Again, the exchanges, characterization and future chapter set-up have all been well done in all the right places.

Once again, superb job on this latest chapter. And thanks for the correction on my wrong guess.

Anyway, excellent work on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I LOVE the work that went into the Town Hall rescue as well as the encounter with Mister Negative. Makes me wonder how Pinkie is going to get out of THIS mess. And, yeah, I see your points on the comparisons to Two-Face.

Of course, we know once Spider-Mare and Black Cat take care of Mister Negative and Shocker, they're THEN going to have to cope with the Sinister Six in the next arc of this story.

For a possible epilogue scene (after ALL the major villains in THIS story are taken care of temporarily), there could be a crashing rocket with four ponies crawling out. Sugar Belle demonstrates greatly increased telekinesis (particularly concerning force fields) as well as a boosted instinct for spells that can make herself and other beings and objects invisible, Party Favor demonstrates IMMENSELY amplified strength and durability, while one of the remaining two demonstrates super-stretching powers and increased intelligence and the other one demonstrates potent pyrokinetic abilities. Which, of course, sets up a possible spin-off story with the Fantastic Four taking on Chrysalis and her army (with the exception of the reformed Thorax) in the roles of the Skrulls.

Excellent work on this chapter. The Papa Wolf moment by Uncle Al's projection was downright great and I greatly enjoyed seeing Pinkie escape the darkness Mister Negative tried to create and then help Cheese against Mister Negative in the physical realm.

All in all very good work on the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.

It's Pizza Time! e.e

Once again, you did a splendid job on the exchanges, action, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Yeah, Pinkie's run-in with Mister Negative in the Negative Zone was great stuff, especially managing to get through to his Martin Lee side, however briefly. And now, Pinkie and Cheese have to make a express delivery to Twilight.

Again, very god job on the characterizations, exchanges and future action set-up in all the right places. I especially liked how Twilight pointed out they had enough antidote to cure HALF the victims, but NOT ALL (since that makes for a good set-up for later) as well as how Copper Top was already on to the heroes. And, yes, the VERY slightly modified version of the "Gauntlet of Fire" episode ending makes for a good reason on Garble's end to join with the symbiotes.

And, yeah, next episode is going to be one doozy of a fight.

REALLY good job on this next chapter. The action, exchanges and future chapter set-up were all well done in all the right places. Loved seeing Pinkie and Cheese holding their own against the Six and managing to hang tough until the Fantastic Four got there to help. AND THEN, I LOVED seeing the Fantastic Four in action. Anyway, now five of the six have been captured, but there's still other villains waiting in the wings and the heroes still have a city to save.

I will be reading this soon. I can't promise an unbiased opinion. I'll be comparing this to my version of Spider-Mare, so you've got some stiff competition :P I'll be happy to read in the future.

REALLY good job on this latest chapter. Excellent work on the exchanges, characterizations and future set-up in all the right places. I especially liked how the Fantastic Four managed to help Pinkie and Cheese get the antidote back to Ponyville in time. And, yeah, VERY logical pick for the role of Nick Fury AND future set-up for the analogue to "the Avengers". In addition, the invitations to join S.M.I.L.E. and see "'What If?'" were wonderful details too.

Yeah. It IS the wrong franchise. Still, considering Spider-Man DOES operate in the same city as the Ninja Turtles, AND Spidey has personality traits in common with both Mikey AND Donny, it would be logical for them for there to be a Spider-Man/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover eventually. ESPECIALLY with the thought of Spidey and the Turtles taking on the Shredder and the Green Goblin (as well as who knows how many minions BOTH villains might have)

Here's a couple possible story ideas you could tackle later for this universe if you choose to:

1. Set just a few months after this story, the Fantastic Four could try to temporarily fill in for Spider-Mare and Black Cat while the former is - expecting (i.e. trying to make sure Pinkie's pregnancy goes with as little stress as possible), dealing with your choice of villains (either based on Spider-Man villains, Fantastic Four villains or a combination of the two. This one would be more of a "spin-off" story

2. There could be a short series of stories with Spider-Mare and Black Cat meeting and teaming up with other super-heroes against your choice of villains (doubling as both a world-building story series [as each team up only lasts between one to three chapters depending on the threat level of the villains] and further build-up to this universe's eventual answer to the Avengers)

or 3. Spider-Mare and Black Cat take on an army of mutated reptiles led by a powerful villain calling herself the Lizard (aka Starlight Glimmer to those that haven't been reading these great stories).

Your choice of any of the three, or you can go on your own if you don't like any of the ideas.

9608138 I do have plans for a Lizard storyline, considering it was popular enough to be in the first Amazing Spider Man movie. But probably not until this time next year at the earliest.

Completely understandable. I half-expected that to be honest, but I appreciate the clarification.

Aw! I wish Sandbar could have been Miles Morales.

After reading this, I now want to see the Fantastic Four tangle with the Sinister Six.
