This story is a sequel to My Little Universe: Season 8
The Elements of Harmony and the Crystal Gems had come a very long way. Earth: a colony planet for a renegade Diamond, now in watch and care by a 16 year old Human boy and his team of Polymorphic Sentient Rocks. And Equus: a planet right from a storybook in charge by the Princess of the Sun, now in watch by her most faithful student along with her closest friends of all three Races. A princess of Friendship, and a Prodigy of Care.
They've done so much to get to this point, and they're so close to being finished. Corruption still needs to be healed, old quarrels still need to be mended, and still looming is an army that is bent on ruining everything they've built up to this point. Can they make it to that Happily Ever After?

SECOND: If Spinel isn't at the garden then where is she? In the movie, she only left because of Steven's broadcast, so....how tho?

So...before I go back and talk more in depth about the last couple chapters, let's get one question out of the way now since you decided to bring her in. How is it that Spinels were a naturally occurring if highly rare gem type? Pearl clearly knew about them since she recognized this Spinel as similar to the one Pink use to play with. So then how come when Pearl fused with Lapis, they decided to call themselves Spinel? I know this is partially due to you selecting the name before Steven Universe: The Movie came out, but I am interested in having an in universe explanation on how the raw gem is a bundle of energy, but the fused gem is essentially Lapis and Pearl working out their issues calmly and serenely.
WOW!!! Ok, I-I MAN THERE'S SO MUCH GOING ON HERE!!!! I'll just say one thing at a time! First off, OH MY FRICK!!! That's horrible with what happened to Spinel! I REALLY hope White apologizes to her personally!
Secondly, Steven pulled a Kion/Jasiri from Lion Guard! I'm so proud of him! 
Also, Grogar pulled a Chrysalis....why am I not surprised?... 
Thirdly, wow, those two problems were handled really quickly....some....something more threatening is gonna happen huh?...Oh boy. 
And lastly, oh man, most of the gems got reset didn't they? This is going to be SO interesting! 
This chapter was so chock full of good stuff, I can't flipping WAIT to see what happens next! Keep up the good work!

you know gems can't die right? the fact that shards can be used to make gem mutants means that the shards even when separate still have life, if a shattered gem just died then gem mutants wouldn't be possible, the shards still hold memories and the energy they took from the planet they just sit in limbo unable to form which is far worse than death
edit: sonata is the only one of the dazzlings that I can see actively changing for the better in the future
oh noooo there is two of them and one of them is currently clinically insane this is going to go quite badly when she finds out that the crystal gems have made up with the diamonds and with white diamond in particular.

Cause I like Stegg though I wonder if the remade pink diamonds d would become a rose quartz instead also I always imagined a corrupted spinel being a big stretchy excitable dog with heart ears, a fluffy tail with a heart on the end, the ability to stand upright for maximum hug potential, aposable thumbs when it wants them, a big pink mane and a collar with the gem in what ever location though it would be very appropriate for it to be on the neck
And no I'm not saying it(you know that obnoxious word people like to say when they are the starting comment)

Though I do have to say, it will be interesting to see a memory wiped Pink Diamond. I wonder how her memories will be brought back, since she technically isn't the actual Pink Diamond. 
Also, DAAAAAANG!!!! That Water Tower scene was amazing! Looks like even in her amnesic state, Spinel can still dodge attacks without breaking a sweat! 
Lastly, there's going to be SOOOO many feels when they try to get Spinel's memory back huh? I don't think I'll ever be ready for that.....

This chapter...was SO EMOTIONAL!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Flint almost getting shattered and getting saved by Sapphire, Steven getting beaten to a pulp to try and prevent Spinel from getting shattered, and Spinel being the awesome Gem that she is trying to save Steven in the end! I JUST LOVE THIS CHAPTER SO MUCH!!! 
Also, Grogar hasn't learned anything.....why am I not surprised.

To quote Lawrence of Arabia: "nothing is written." And nothing is certain until you give up. Then again, Flint was kind of a grade A fatalist for a good long while. A pawn of white, a runaway with Jade, a refugee from homeworld, a colder calculator, a distainful freedom taker. Yeah. If nothing, Flint/Azlet was the embodiment of skepticism in your universe. And that skepticism could be useful in thinking ahead carefully, but also hurtful when trying to truly change. And it's here, facing death, that he caused the futurist to suddenly remember what she believes in.
For it was in the shock of strong emotion that a rejuvinator can truly be reversed. Fear and hope that brought Sapphire back to strength to run in and create...Cloudy sapphire? I have a hard time thinking of what grey and blue would make a good gem combination to. And the ponies were happy.
Then, after Flint got his love poison snap on, "normal" Spinel got a strong reaction of sadness, and from that, got her thoughts straight again. Almost to a detriment, but in this case, the face of evil always gives context to your own problems, and makes the anger and pettiness fade in the face of bravery and love. I guess this continues to show that despite her purpose being to be a fun gem, Spinel was made to be a warrior without peer.
Which, again, makes me wonder, what's the difference between a natural spinel, and a fusion spinel, and how are they so different in height, ability and personality since pearl and lapis did choose the name, and yet it's something so different how can that be reconciled?

So, this must be the introspective chapter. Which is important since Steven is definitely a focal point for this chapter. A lot of moping, and wandering, and thinking about the past. Which I guess creates a cool contrast to the fact that it's the end of things that ends up being who gave Steven the push he needs by reminding him of his duty, and that the work isn't done yet.
Although, there is a small part of me that kinda wishes that Steven did kill Garnet and learning to live with that. That he truly had consequences for giving in to vengeance and that it wasn't just another trick.
Oh and look. The dazzlings are also on a character journey after what happened during the everstorm. Checkov's gunmen!
On a final note, it's always appreciated that you go the route of Don't fear the reaper when talking about Red. Hmm. If that is true, then there's a cool contrast between Red and the other diamonds. White's a creator, Red's a taker, Yellow's solid, Blue's soft, and Pink? She's the creative, "human" one. Though this does make me wonder whether Red is like the mistress and the other gods or just a really advanced Gem forgotten by history. Or maybe both.

I love how everyone reacted to Spinel being back! It got me everytime! 
Also, AWWWWwww!!! Rhodonite and her components were so cute and brave! Rescuing Yellow Pearl like that was so cool to see! 
Speaking of cute, can I just say how adorable Spinel was when she was sleeping with a stuffed toy?! THAT WAS ADORABLE!!!! 
Finally Steven got to make up with Sapphire. That was so sweet to see! (Now we just need him to make up with Ruby.)
