Very good observation there!

Yes, we must carry on Button Mash's legacy to the very end!

Strange thing about teh difference between magic, fantasy and reality? You dont tend to get the really weird designs in reality inmagic etc, because theyre too strange?

I always wondered if its possible to get a useable amount of power out of RTG or even compact nuclear core, in the volume of a mainline steam engine. After all, pretty much all power stations are steam engines?

Sorry, Best I can find. Truck sized reactors, generators I think are extra, but thats what Tenders are for? https://www.nextbigfuture.com/2018/08/los-alamos-truck-transportable-nuclear-fission-reactor-design.html

Also, first reactor was a decade before the last standard mainline steam engine in the UK?

The P2 project did look into the idea of powering an engine using a LENR reactor, but abandoned the project on cost grounds. You are correct, the first nuclear power station in Britain was Sellafield, which went live in 1954, 6 years before Evening Star was built.

Wow, and people complain about Ponyville being an incoherent mishmash of time periods. Obviously theyve never been to England. :trollestia:

Just look at our railways. Modern diesels rub buffers with DMUs from the 1970s. On the Woodhead route, steam engines from the 1920s ran alongside the most advanced electrics ever built.

And we will. When I am old and grey, I want to be able to go onto Youtube and watch Button videos (been playing Button's Mom more or less nonstop this evening).

Man Babs is just as bad as Duncan in the Thomas & Friends Season 4 when he first arrived on Sodor! I can hear her saying, "I get no rest! I get no rest!"

Also Duncan's theme goes well with her too.

I didn’t find out about “Button’s Adventures” until it was far too late. Could you tell me what happened in the few episodes that Jan made before he/she was forced to delete them?

Edit: I watched “Game Over” after reading this and I have to say, F*** YOU HASBRO!!!!!!! That video brought me to tears! :fluttercry:

That episode was a source of inspiration. Conversely, this theme goes well with Duncan:

I'll post the links to the videos here. They still exist on YouTube, just not on Jan's channel. Ironically, C&Ding Jan just increased brony awareness of Button's Adventures:
