To be more specific since I haven't read the story yet (it's in my read it later list).
If you're describing likelihood of impregnating the term is fertile. If you're describing sexual energy/stamina and similar features regarding a males ability for sex virile is the term you want. A virile male is more capable/masculine whereas fertile means the seed takes.
