I think Twilight's best pony because I relate to her the best.

From the hosts of The FlashLight Week, come the Bimonthly Challenges. Every two months AngyLopez and ro994 will send out a prompt on deviantart for FlashLight fan works. I might not be able to participate for every prompt, but I will try to participate as much as possible. Some of these stories are in the same continuity as Heaven's Not Too Far Away, but others may have their own continuities in order to better fit the prompt. You will find The FlashLight Week's deviantart page in the following link: https://www.deviantart.com/the-flashlight-week

Well this is going straight to my favorites. I enjoyed your first Flashlight story so this one will be great too. Nice start, it was sweet how Flash went through so much to make sure Twilight and Sunset stayed best friends.

It's noble for Flash to go out of his way to make sure that Twilight wouldn't feel compelled to choose between the romantic relationship she has with him and her friendship with Sunset.
Also addressing that Flash maintaining his realtionship with Sunset was not good for Sunset either, something almost every one over looks, very clever.
Looking forward to more of this storyline.

Finally I can leave you a comment! I love your stories!

I don't know so much of English as to appreciate the use of grammar, coherence and cohesion. Although I can see you write pretty well, very neat! I like the small introspections you give, the nice descriptions. That complements the dialogues quite a lot. And wow I love that you follow the characterizations of the characters! Also that you give your own touch to Micro Chips. My God, I imagine it the same! And his interaction with Flash was very funny. I also noticed the attitude you give to Sunset, you have a very good perception of her!

I can't stop feeling inspired by your stories. I loved your previous writing and this one is not the exception. I can see that there is an important message, and yes, their past is! So of course I loved that they talked about it, that Flash is preoccupied by not causing problems. Yes, he is an amazing boy. Also, I also like that Sci-Twi is nervous, hesitant about what to do and also about how she had her relationship with Timber. I'm not convinced by the reason why they broken, but I understand.

Oh, thank you very much for the author's notes. That is, you make it clear why you wrote this. And I really appreciate it, I'm sure Ro too!

I will enjoy whenever you can participate, it will be a pleasure to read you!

:raritycry: it's so beautiful:raritycry:

clap clap clap clap clap clap clap this is such a great story exsuse me while i faint... (2 hours later) hu oh as i was saying bravo i give it 2 thumbs way way up.

This is one epic fairy tale. It had romance, adventure, a health relationship, and a great ending where the two live happily together forever.

I am curious about their children and grandchildren though. Are they immortal too or are they mortal and have no idea what happened to the two of them? Either, way great chapter that was worth the long wait.

I'd like to think that they're mortal with extraordinary abilities. I'd also like to think that they have at least some idea of what happened to Flash and Twilight even if they're not completely certain.

Also, fairies aren't immortal. They're ageless. They can die if someone tries to kill them.

Don't overthink it. It wouldn't be a folktale without a few plotholes.

Nice chapter. Happy to see they're gonna try the long distance, which can work as me and my sister are both by-products of it.

“I know,” Flash replied before sighing again, “but I already promised her and myself that I would say them to her someday, especially since she already said them to me.”

That's a stupid reason to tell someone that you love him/her... Flash, I am routing for yah, but you need to bring your A-gam... This is your A-game isn't it... Oh sweet Celestia.

“That sounded a lot less weird in my mind.”

that is true for 99.999% of everything ever said.

“What kind of fav—Oh!” Flash’s eyes widened in realization. “What kind of a sick human being would do that?”

Evolutionary-wise it actually makes perfect sense for a man who purchases things, often meals and such, to expect a woman to... recepercate in that means, as men who do that are showing that can provide for the women they are courting.

The title is borrowed from the English lyrics of a song from a certain Japanese movie.

Is it a Studio Ghibli film (and yes that included Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind despite actually being made by Studio Topcraft)?

No, it's not a Ghibli film. Are you going to need another hint?

9378912
maybe the studio that made it or year it came out

This was so sweet. Good job. Can’t wait to see more from this continuity.

I know you're going to have them kiss. But holy crap, 6 months and no kissing?! My high school girlfriend didn't hesitate the second our first date was over. Still, glad to see this is still going. Yay Sci-FlashLight

You know, the last month has been difficult for me. I had several problems, I'm inclined to find inspiration for this couple, but you know what? You are amazing! You always inspire me, you have a nice way to interpret the relationship of Sci-Twi and Flash.

I really like that Flash is a gentleman, and he is so innocent! Aw, Sci-Twi was distressed by their relationship, so cute> \\ <

I love the conflict of love from a distance, but I know that they will continue to love each other. They are destined to be together!

I also love the creativity you have to write! I hope to continue reading you. And do not worry, no matter what they say, you write beautiful!

Why? Because of the animal bride element of the story? :applejackunsure: It's a thing that happened in a lot of old fairy tales.

Imagine if Jon Solo made a video on this.
