I have not read it all yet, but you made me laugh in the first four paragraphs. Accomplishment Success: Achievement Unlocked.

Excellent work on the one-shot. The exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up were all well done in all the right places.

And, yeah, curiosity plus sleep-walking can lead to some pretty bad things sometimes. Fortunately, this JUST BARELY avoided becoming one of those times. :-D
