My entry for the speed writing challenge posed by ROBCakeran53 at Trotcon 2018. The challenge was to write a story with Rainbow Dash, Featherweight, and 'the moon.' The second chapter wasn't part of the contest, I just needed to boost the word count to post the first chapter at all.

Well, it tries to be comedy... However, it comes off as mean spirited on Luna's part, and unnecessary.
Twilight Sparkle: I want to land the space ship on the Mare Concordia.
Princess Luna: That's my rock garden.
Twilight Sparkle: Oh, okay, I'll land it on another Mare. It's not like the surface of the moon isn't littered with them.

Twilight Sparkle; No, it must be the Sea of Harmony, because for some reason the rocket design I built can only make it to that location, despite the fact that I'm a genius who built a controlable dimensional portal out of an ancient mirror, the magical equivalent of a cellphone, and a bunch of scraps.
Princess Luna; Why don't I just move the moon ten percent closer, or being that a rocket, even a moon rocket weighs less than a moon, we put our horns together and give it an additional boost, so it will have the fuuel reserve to choose a different landing location.
Twilight Sparkle: Okay, that works too.
