A reviewer tells the story of when he watched a play at his school about the banishment of Nightmare Moon. The play starts out pretty bad and derails in a way that he certainly wasn’t expecting.

The story is told in the style of a play review that inserts excerpts of the script in for context. Since I haven’t seen this style of storytelling before, I don’t really have a reference that I can base it off of, so there’s a lot of room to mess up. Now this was well done. I would say it was 500% better than their play, but that would just be insulting to your writing.

I’m relatively new to Fimfiction, so it’s nice to see some well-written and fun stories right off the bat. This deserves to be featured. And to have a mustache.

Well the play is supposed to be bad, but thank you. I was very nervous about bad response to this, especially with such an experimental style. I do hope that at the very least, the style was able to make up for my own shortcomings as a writer. So I’m glad at least really early response is positive

For some reason this reminded me of Owlor's "What You Sat On"
