What could be better than a fun day at the Wonderbolts show? Well, how about a day touring the illustrious Wonderbolt Academy?
After "acquiring" the winning raffle ticket, Midnight Star is given the honor of a private tour at the Wonderbolts Academy. For her, it’s just the perfect opportunity to have a fun-filled day. She’ll have a chance to take some photos, meet some important Wonderbolts, and maybe, just maybe, get them alone so she can show them her "special touch."
It’s guaranteed to be a tour nopony will ever forget.

Excellent first chapter. Love the scenes with Derpy and Midnight, and it's cool to see some of Midnight's backstory, as well.
If I had one spot of criticism, I feel like we could've had more of a reaction from Lightning Dust to being obese after Midnight'd transformed her, and that her presence in the story ends a bit too quickly.
Overall, though, still a great start.

Just personal preference but I like better that weight gain is desired not a punishment. That and I really like Lightning Dust redemption.
Aw the big bimbo brat thinks she's got a sympathetic tilt since she was chubby as a kid.
Just makes leaving her a laughingstock and little more then brain in a blob all the more appealing as an end to this.
Preferably somewhere her corpse will feed a few animals.

I very much agree with your plan of fattening up all the world's ponies. It's a good plan. A well-rounded one, if you will.
Question: are there any plans for this "Midnight Saga" to go anywhere towards a feel-good payoff? A redemption of sorts where she realizes she's become "just another pathetic bully", and is now exactly what she hated as a foal?
I'm not really into nonconsensual, well, anything really. Especially with fat being used to ruin ponies lives like this, so I would normally stay away. But if I know there is going to be a payoff I may just stick around to see where this goes.

I don't plan on ending the saga anytime soon, if that's what you mean. But if I ever do decided on a "grand finale" of sorts, it'll probably end with that... or possibly with Midnight behind bars.

Also, I like how Midnight used her powers to help Derpy in the end. That, and I love that she gave Derpy a few extra pounds only to her bottom. Knowing Derpy, she probably won't even notice.
