Well, at least she's getting a laugh out of it...but honestly, this had me hooked through and through. Nice build up, good use of environmental metaphor to describe Dash, and of course she'd COMPLETELY depend on Twilight to fix anything brain related!

Ahem, anyway. Prologue, excellent prologue. Enjoyed it from beginning to end, and I didn't notice any GLARING errors. Great buildup, adheres to the archetypes just fine, feels like the characters from the show. Can't wait to see where this goes! Oh, and great cliffhanger.
Only way to find out is to write and see. You know how you end up in Silent Ponyville after all.

Okay. I just want to chip in here and make a statement: Appledash is awesome.
Having said that, there hasn't been a story that's been as touching or as endearing to me. This is an exceptional romance - i'm not sure who else is as into them as I am, but... anyway! Basically everypony NEEDS to try this out.

Honestly, I dont get everyone's disdain for AppleDash in this story. While, yes, I dont generally favor AppleDash fics, the emotions and actions in this chapter are so believably foreign for both AJ and RD that I am actually rooting for AJ right now
. Also, I hope much of the story lies after FlutterDash's "touching moment," I'm really looking forward to the conflict and emotion that's brewing here!
