You can almost hear the despair and guilt in Twilight's voice as she wrote her entry.
I wonder how Dash is gonna be? Last time they talked, Dash basically lashed out at Sunset for trying to help when Dash's magic was showing. And let's not forget that right after this is when Sunset decided to kill herself.

8526243 That happens a lot in my short amount of experience with writing fan fics. A lot of times the reader remembers things that the writer doesn't. Especially if they have numerous fics written.

Rarity seems to be slightly oblivious to the fact that she too yelled at Sunset before she took her life.
All of their reactions really give impacts, from how they can't believe she's gone to them being unable to understand everything that led up to her suicide. Once Sunset's letter in unveiled, it'll certainly hit them all hard.

Yeah, I can see Fluttershy going through this mindset. She's so kind but if she missed this, of course she would worry if it's happening to anyone else. Such a thing could either cause her to sink further into her nature or start to over worry to breaking personal space if she doesn't learn balance.
And here we have Applejack, trying to deal with her grief my being level headed and trying to make sense of it all, noticing how all her friends are faring. She accepts what they did and lets Sunset know of her true feelings, ones never said until now.

Deep message and the reactions from the students show how they would react. Confusion from those still trying to understand and those who don't care enough to think they are at fault and just blame the victim if they dared express how they felt for their mistreatment.
And here we have Celestia, recognizing her mistakes and thinking that maybe if she had acted sooner Sunset could have lived if she just came back. She's trying to keep herself dignified in order to avoid the soul crushing weight she must be feeling.

Deep. Pinkie really understands how it feels to not be in a good place and what happens when people who say are your friends aren't acting like it. Really gives her friendly and happy persona more depth.
Not very fair of Celestia to place all the blame on them like that, but she's hardly privy to all the facts either.
Pinkie's chapters have been some of the hardest-hitting ones so far.
It's amazing how one piece of paper can change a person's attitude.
And now with Sunset's feelings out there, Rainbow can no longer stay in denial and has to try to understand how to find forgiveness and to become better.

Fluttershy really needs a good shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen to her. She's feeling so much guilt from not speaking up and such a mistake can really affect her. She can't change what she did or what happened, but hopefully it can help her be able to speak up next time.

She wasn't in kindergarten, she was in middle school. Since they are in high school now then that was only a few years ago. I can remember my friends from sixth grade even though we didn't hang out after that and I graduated a decade ago. On top of that, I think her only friend at the time would mean she should easily remember his name.
